This detached, stone, south-facing cottage, situated on a working farm, has been furnished throughout to provide a holiday home from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales. The Nidderdale Way Walk can be accessed from the property and for those who like fishing there is a private fishing lake with brown trout 1/2 mile away (by direct arrangement with the owner, Apr-Sept). There is also a public swimming pool, gym and squash court ,500 yards, and with the elegant spa town of Harrogate just 14 miles, there is truly something for everyone. Pub, shops and restaurant ½ mile.

This property is close to the 2014 Tour de France route, come and experience the spectacular scenery for yourself and follow in the trail of some true cycling legends.

First floor: Double bedroom with 5ft four poster bed and en-suite bathroom with roll-top slipper bath, shower attachment and toilet. Twin bedroom.

  4. We visited this cottage for a family weekend special occasion get-together and it was ideal. The cottage is in a lovely quiet location and is much larger than it looks from the external photo. It is very comfortable and very spacious, but still with a cosy feel. The four poster master bedroom and ensuite were particularly spacious. We also had a very friendly welcome from the owner.   6. A beautifully appointed cottage in a quiet location 10 mins walk from the centre of Pateley Bridge. Lovely choice of restaurants (Olleys Pizzeria) and pubs (The Crown) in the immediate vicinity, and Pateley itself is a delight. Great walks from Pateley Bridge too. I’d definitely go back. Aug 2011.

Owners very friendly and helpful and live next door.Plenty of space to relax in .We were able to invite 4 friends round to enjoy a meal and sit round the table Double bedroom downstairs needs hanging space for clothes. Photograph doesn’t show the property is off the main road and this was a great advantage for us with safe private parking for our cars although states only 2 cars we managed to park 3 there. July 2011.
  8. Large cottage with ample rooms, ceilings a little low in places but manageable. Ideal for walking into Pateley Bridge, very helpful owners, loads of outside space. Great for a family get together. July 2011.

Orchard Cottage is a very spacious well maintained accommodation, the location is perfect for exploring the dales and it is only a short walk (5 to 10 minutes) along the river Nidd to the centre of Pately Bridge where everything you need can be found along with a good park for children.
