Orchard Barn stands on the edge of an old cider orchard on the owner’s 200-acre farm. It has beautiful far reaching rural views of a local border castle, Welsh mountains and sunsets. Enjoy peace and quiet in the large garden with apple trees to relax under. Watch buzzards, skylarks and other wildlife. On two sides of the barn is a stunning landscaped patio, ideal for al fresco dining. A fifteen-minute drive to the market towns of Ross-on-Wye, (8 miles) with access to M50 and Monmouth, (6 miles) with dual carriageway to M4. There is plenty to do and see in this Area of Great Landscape Value, including walks from the door, castles to explore and Welsh border only one mile. The Forest of Dean and Symonds Yat, (8 miles), offer walks, rock climbing, cycling and canoeing. Local inns serving food 2 miles at Garway and Skenfrith. Shop 400 yards.

  4. The standard of accommodation is very good. The common areas are very spacious and well arranged. Bedrooms are of different size and each are ensuite and adequately equipped. The cooking and eating facilities include all that is required and easy to work. The barn conversion as a whole has been done to a high specification. Outside facilities again are very good. The location is excellent with outstanding views across the Herefordshire countryside. Aug 2011.

  6. Orchard Barn is an amazing property and in a wonderful location. Lots and space inside and out. It was ideal for family and friends to get together for my husband’s 65th birthday. Everyone had a fabulous time and we had a celebratory sunday lunch at the Garway Moon Inn - the food was great and the landlord Scott was very helpful and accommodating. Great walk to Skenfrith and the weather couldn’t have been better. Would have loved to have stayed longer and would love to go back. Definitely recommend this property. April 2011.
