Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. We stayed at the Old Salmon Bothy in Easter 2012. Superb, clean, cosy and very comfortable accommodation for our family, with 3 boys aged 8 to 13. It was so relaxing to sit in the lounge with a morning coffee and watch the wildlife as the tide moved in or out. There are good restaurants nearby. Plenty to see and do at Gairloch and Badachro. On a trip towards Ullapool past Inverrew gardens we saw Red Deer stags just by the road. The owners are so nice and helpful, a few days after our holiday we received a package in the post containg some things we had left, even some lego pieces. We fully recommend the Old Salmon Bothy and surrounding area. April 2012.
  2. Lives up to all expectations, very quiet, wonderful views with seals and otters clearly visible from the windows. March 2012.
  3. Nice welcome touch by the owners leaving eggs, fresh bread and wine for our arrival. As was also the free basket of logs and woodburning stove ready to go! We did need the extra warmth for the last few days of our holiday during the first week of October 2011. However be warned, we had sauna conditions pretty quickly. Please ensure the fire is minimised as advised as soon as the logs catch light. Property had everything necessary and more - less old bothy and more the luxury cottage. The position was excellent with otters, seals and divers to entertain us - interesting birds too. Oh yes , and the resident chickens! Gairloch and area had good supermarkets, restuarants and pubs. Only tip - make sure you stock up on the Saturday before or after arrival (if you have time) with fuel for humans as well as the vehicle. Oct 2011.
  4. Fantastic view to the sea, peaceful, quiet and the wildlife was abundant. The piano was great fun. July 2010.
