  1. This was our third visit since 2009 and we have never been disapointed. The Old Pennistone is a home from home. We go in December to relax. This place is exactly what the doctor ordered!! The owners are very helpfull and are there when you need them but at the same time leave you alone to enjoy your stay. I would recommend to anyone who likes the countryside. Dec 2012.

  9. Great Holiday, The Old Pennistone has a great setting. We had snow which whilst we were snowed in for a couple of day (No 4x4)we could not be snowed in, in a better place. We walked and built snowmen with the kids, they loved it. Sheep, Deer, Cows and Rabits all close by. Loved it!! Dec 2011.

Old Pennistone came up and wow what a cottage. Beautiful extremely peaceful break, days of blissful surroundings with excellent, more than comfortable accommodation. Everything you need readily available. We can only recommend this cottage for the perfect getaway. So much to see around. Near to the lakes and Yorkshire Dales. Thank you. May 2010.
