1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

Hidden down a country lane in the picturesque Camel Valley just six miles from the beach, Old Mill Cottage lies in the grounds of a 13th-century manor house with duck pond and bubbling streams, two miles from the pretty little town of Camelford and close to magnificent Trebarwith Strand, the vast beaches of Rock and Polzeath, and the fishing village of Padstow. The famous Camel Cycle Trail along the glorious Camel estuary is only minutes away, as is Doc Martin’s village of Port Isaac and Cornwall’s unique Bodmin Moor where ponies wander free. The cottage is decorated for Christmas, and is ideal for horse riding and golf with a pub just over a mile away. Shop 1 mile.

Converted from a former barn. Open-plan Shaker-style kitchen with oak worktops, stone floor, dining area leading to cosy living room with gas woodburner, leather sofa. Spacious double bedroom. Wet room with roll-top bath, toilet and ceramic tiled floor. Up three steps to spacious twin bedroom with additional single bed (for +1).

  1. The property is located approx 2 miles form Camelford down a narrow winding country lane and my sat nav directed me somewhat past the cottage. As a tip - look for the sign Trethin which is right outside the property. Or ask for Trethin as it would appear many locals know it. The cottage was found to be very comfortable with underfloor heating in the bathroom. The two bedrooms are at opposite ends of the property which makes it less likely that you are going to disturb any one. The owners have left a folder with loads of advice such as the various local beaches. areas to explore and recommended pubs for meals. However if you intend visiting some of the pubs be wary of the narrow lanes as many sections are only wide enough for one vehicle. I haven’t made many comments re the cottage itself as our party of 4 adults and one grandchild were quite happy staying there. Aug 2011.
  2. Well equipped, homely. The owners have left their own "local guide" which is good for local beaches, eateries etc. Also local maps. July 2011.
  3. The cottage was clean comfortable and warm fitted with everything needed for hols. Situated in a very well planned and tended attractive small complex of cottages, which is quite delightful. This was excellently placed in deep countryside for enjoying the abundant spring flowers and wildlife in the hedges and lanes. Do walk around to the local Church in Advent, its worth a visit to step back in time. The cottage is well placed for visiting various coastal locations, and the Peck Ish chip shop in Camelford is the best I have ever tasted. The butcher in Camelford is also excellent. May 2011.
  4. Plenty of room for all . The 2nd bedroom is more for children. The information provided in the property was great maybe to much. We would go back tomorrow if we could. June 2010.
