Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. A fantastic cottage in a truely beautiful setting, amazing scenery on your door step. The cottage would comfortably take six, good size rooms for all, very comfortable. We will return again and again. Feb 2012.
  2. Weather was wet! Don’t let that put you off as even the wet weather couldn’t put a dampner on skye. We have stayed at exactly the same time of year other times and the weather was beautiful. Oct 2011.
  3. Although our visit was in May/June, the solid fuel stove was a must on the cold wet evenings! The beds were very comfortable and the Egyptian cotton sheets like silk! The kitchen was well equipped - a real home from home. We found it hard to leave! May 2011.
  4. No need to wax lyrical about Skye here... the cottage has everything you want when you go to Skye. Peace and quiet, warmth, a great kitchen, the sea only a short stroll away and sheep all over the place. April 2011.
  5. It was full of character and in a beautiful place, although it is quite remote. July 2010.
  6. Well built, cosy, warm and beautiful. May 2010.
  7. It was a real home from home, light and airy feel with a real cottage atmosphere. Oct 2009.
  8. Lovely rustic feel to cottage, beautifully decorated. Good sized kitchen with table and chairs which we used every night. Only downside was the remoteness of the cottage. Needed to hop in car to do anything like pick up pint of milk. Whilst nice to be remote, this frustrated us by end of our trip. Aug 2009.
  9. Excellent standard of accommodation - probably the best we have stayed at. Jan 2009.
  10. Really cosy and comfortable with excellent attention to detail. Dec 2008.
  11. This was the best holiday cottage we have ever been to. Everything has been tastefully restored, the house is perfectly equipped and there is plenty of useful information about Skye to be found in the cottage. The owners have been incredibly friendly and helpful as there was a problem with the heating and the warm water and we got immediate help (even on Sunday). June 2008.
  12. The holiday was our honeymoon and we had a wonderful time. The cottage was so clean and warm. It made our honeymoon having such a lovely place to stay in with breath taking views. Sept 2008.
  13. Peaceful and relaxing. Golden eagles seen regularly around the cottage area, fantastic sunsets at neist point lighthouse, great gallery near to three chimneys restaurant and a colony of seals near here too. A fantastic place to get away from all the hustle and bustle. March 2007.
  14. It is the most stunning location - the view, the house itself - if one could design the antidote to city life this would be it! May 2007.
  15. It was like staying on someone’s home - all eventualities covered even down to the wind up radio and torch. I would have been happy to stay there in all weathers and the children didn’t want to come home. Aug 2006.
  16. Probably the most relaxing holiday we have ever had Dec 2006.
  17. This is a lovely house- probably the best we have ever stayed in over the years. It is light bright and comfortable. Also well equipped and very tastefully decorated. Even if the weather was bad the house was a really lovely space just to be in and look out on the incredible landscape of Skye from all windows. Very conducive to relaxation! May 2006.
