Property Description

In a wonderful location, only 100 yards from a popular sand/pebble beach, this delightful single storey holiday property is situated opposite the owner’s home, in a private residential area. The seaside resort of Bognor Regis is a short drive, whilst Chichester with its cathedral, Goodwood and Fontwell races and festival theatre are all approx 15 minutes drive. Also within easy reach are Arundel Castle, Pagham Nature Reserve, the South Downs, Littlehampton, Worthing, Brighton and Portsmouth. Shops 1 mile, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.

All on ground floor: Living room with sofa bed (for children)/dining room. Kitchen. Conservatory. 1 double bedroom with en-suite wet room and toilet.

Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Digital TV. DVD. Stereo/CD. Gas hob. Electric oven. Microwave. Washer/dryer. Fridge/freezer. Garden furniture. Parking (1 car). One well-behaved pet welcome (to be kept on a lead). No smoking.

  1. Beautifully kept bungalow in a quiet private cul de sac about 100 yards from the beach down a footpath. The owner was really helpful and friendly and the property is dog friendly. The village shops nearby have everything you could need.The fox sitting outside the kitchen window one morning was a bonus!! Certainly one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. I cannot recommend it highly enough. We had arrived in Sussex to find our original choice of property was flooded out. We cannot thank your company enough for taking the time to find this cottage for us at a couple of hours notice just before Christmas and even more our thanks go to the owners who allowed us to stay at Oakdene cottage at such short notice and made us so welcome.   2. Ideal accommodation for two people. Good access to shop and pub. A good set-off point for Sussex beauty spots and resorts. Sept 2012.
  3. Good area for walking the dog, although the cottage has no fence or enclosed area. As we have a young dog this would have been helpful to know as dog needs to be kept on lead. March 2012.

  12. Near a good beach & convenient location - good for an Xmas break, but wouldn’t stay in the summer due to proximity to owner’s property. Kitchen well fitted, bedroom good & good walk-in shower (but no means of drying floor afterwards). Living room cosy & compact, but spoilt by owner’s cramming in unsuitably large furniture. Nice touch was owner’s providing a Xmas tree & lights and a thoughtful welcome pack including a bottle of wine. Dec 2009.

If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
