  1. This was a lovely little cottage, clean and comfortable although our weather was cold we were able to use the coal fire to supplement the heating. The sauna was great after a long day hill walking. The welcome package was brilliant as we arrived late in the evening. April 2012.
  2. This cottage was undoubtedly one of the best we have stayed in. The owners are delightful and ensure a warm welcome on arrival, but maintain a discrete presence throughout your stay. It is a little gem of a cottage, in a quiet pretty village in a beautiful part of the North Lakes. Just wonderful. March 2012.

  5. This property is excellent, everything has been thought of. The owners are to be congratulated, the attention to detail is second to none, all the nice little extra touches. The coal free in price etc, can’t fault this place so much so, this is the only cottage I have returned to for a second time. Oct 2011.
  6. We loved the personal touches like food/drink/chocolates when we arrived. The owners were helpful yet not intrusive. Fantastic to have Sky Sports so that I could keep up with my footy!! Come on Stoke. The kitchen could thrive on a few sharp knives. Oct 2011.
