Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. The cottage is fantastic. The quality is 5 star quality and would absolutely recommend and stay again. It is very spacious with 3 comfortable bedrooms, a large living room, and a superb kitchen / dining room. The log fire was very cosy on a cold evening. We had a one year old in our party and the owners were fantastic supplying stair gate, cot and high chair. The kitchen is fitted with everything you need to cook with and is a joy to spend time in cooking up a great meal. March 2012.
  2. These cottages are truly 5 star quality, both the property and the location. The owners are lovely people too. The Eskdale pub near to the station does fantastic food and the Downe Arms is also good. If you want a quiet getaway, this is the place and the walking in the area is also fantastic. 10/10. Oct 2011.
  3. Fantastic location, helpful friendly owners. Property is one of the best we have stayed in, & we have wide experience of SC here & abroad. Coast or country walking in easy reach. June 2011.
  4. The property had everything we could have hoped for. The building had character and the interior was very tasteful. It was well equipped and comfortable. The owners were friendly and helpful, without being intrusive. The location afforded us stunning views and plenty of wildlife sightings. Its position, along a private track made it seem delightfully remote yet amenities such as a small supermarket and restaurants were easily accessible by car. We found plenty to do in the area. All in all, highly recommended. May 2011.
  5. The property was of an excellent standard - both in terms of cleanliness and its overall comfort. The location was rural(just what we wanted) yet not too far away from amenieties. The owners were very welcoming, friendly and extremely hospitable. We would urge anyone considering this property to go ahead and book, we can guarantee you won’t be disapointed. May 2011.
  6. A beautiful property in a scenic area. Owners were very hospitable, always on hand to give advice when required. Highly recommended. April 2011.
  7. Everything was as described, absolutely excellent first class accommodation. The owners were there to welcome us and available if we needed them. Would definitely return again and recommend to friends and family. Feb 2011.
  8. The property was lovely, equipped to a very high standard and the owners were so friendly and helpful. Dec 2010.
  9. Truely 5 star as described. Oct 2010.

  11. The North Range was with out doubt the most splendid holiday cottage I’ve ever stayed in. Aug 2010.
  12. This was a luxurious property that the owners had spared no pains to make as comfortable as possible and it was lovely to have a kitchen that was equipped with equipment that was clean and new rather than cast offs. The boys loved the freedom to run around the cottages and use the play equipment. Aug 2010.
  13. The workmanship through out the property was exceptional and the presentation, fixture and fittings was of a very high standard. May 2010.
  14. First-rate conversion of old property. May 2010.
  15. Very clean and all the home comforts you need, but feel the exterior still needs a little tidying up to make the whole presentation of the property perfect. April 2010.
  16. A fantastic cottage, every detail had been thought through by the owners. It was truly 5 stars, our expectations were exceeded. The owners were very friendly and teh setting is beautiful and very tranquil. April 2010.
