Property Description

This first floor mews apartment is part of a Manor House, which was featured in Country Life as a fine example of a new but traditional building. Close to Woodstock and Blenheim Palace 4 miles, it makes an excellent base for a holiday touring. Nature Trail at Finstock, 3 miles. Trout fishing at Chadlington, 7 miles. Sports and leisure centre at Witney, 7 miles. Golf (18-hole), 10 miles. Wildlife Park, 12 miles. Historic Oxford is 12 miles whilst Stratford and Warwick, (both of which are about 30 miles), are well worth visiting. This is an excellent horse riding area.

Internal stairs to entrance. All on first floor: Living/dining room/kitchen. 1 double bedroom with en-suite shower and toilet.

Gas central heating on request £14per week. Electricity £10per week. Bed linen and towels included. Electric cooker. Microwave. Laundry facilities, by arrangement £1.50 per load. Dishwasher. Garden and furniture. Parking (1 car). Welcome pack. Stabling for horse, by arrangement with owner. No children.

  4. The place was wonderful and the hosts, Sue and Pat were exceptionally friendly. They have a beautiful house and make you feel very welcome. A foal had been born 10 days before our arrival, and they took great pleasure in showing him to us. The location in the Cotswolds couldnt have been better. We went down to Woodchester Mansion near Stroud, and can highly recommend the Cotswolds Farm Park for a great day out. The grounds at the cottage were full of wildlife from a small dear, to owls, to partridge and swallows - excellent. June 2011.

The owner was most helpful and friendly - both when I rang and when I arrived. He was there if/when needed but we had our privacy too.
