Also conveniently placed for visits to Snape Maltings, Minsmere, Dunwich, Orford, Aldeburgh and Southwold. Walking, cycling, horse riding and bird watching are all available locally.   1. This flat was extremely comfortable and in a beautiful area. A super base for anyone who enjoys walking and watching wildlife, with miles of open access land adjacent to the farm. The owners were very friendly and always ready to talk and give advice but never intrusive. We really enjoyed our stay at Nightingales and will return. Sept 2012.
  2. Warm & cosy and adequately furnished throughout. Parking excellent. Only draw backs could be the steepish "open stepped" staircase leading to the flat, plus no direct enclosed garden for the dogs, but there were no restrictions as to where the dog went. Two very friendly dogs on site plus lots of horses. If you are a rider, the hacking out is excellent. Wonderful walking country from the doorstep and dog friendly pub in the village "The Shepherd & Dog" plus a good local store. Excellent facilities and location. Sept 2011.
  3. Unlimited access to stud-farm land: extensive walking in the farm and woods. Good local and riverside pubs. Add to the major attractions: Ramsholt Church and Dock, Waldringfield. Sept 2011.
  4. Very convenient apartment with plenty of space for a couple and parking outside. Friendly and helpful owners (plus dog Murphy!), though access to the apt up a rather decaying flight of iron steps is a little iffy. All in all very good value for someone wishing to explore the Suffolk coast, Woodbridge, etc. Aug 2011.
  5. Impossible to reach without a car... long way from town though village shop was within walking distance(for active people) . Very quiet though, peaceful too. Beds comfortable, shower excellent. Nice to have a radio, but no clock. Interesting layout, plenty of room for 2 people. July 2011.
