Tucked away in the heart of Tavistock, West Devon and on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, this well equipped and furnished modern third floor apartment for two, in a Grade II listed building, is an excellent place for touring this delightful area. Amble into Tavistock with its shops, restaurants and pubs, or on your doorstep enjoy the moors, valleys and granite tors of Dartmoor, for some great scenery, walking and wildlife. For memorable days out Cotehele House (NT), Buckland Abbey (NT), Lydford Gorge and Plymouth are a must and of course within easy driving is the famous Eden Project and the beaches of North Cornwall and South Devon. Shop and pub with food 100 yards.

All on third floor: Living/dining room. Kitchen. 1 twin bedroom. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

  8. The accommodation was in a good location, was very well equipped, and had lots of thoughtful extras like guide books, hair drier, dishwasher tablets and kitchen roll, even hot water bottles. It also had its own parking space, although this was not stated in the description. Oct 2010.

The property featured many special touches, including information on the area, teabags & milk on arrival etc. The owners were very friendly and gave good advice on the local area.   17. When we walked in the door we both said wow. What a lovelly place. So spacious and roomy, the deco and furnishings were nice, there was plenty of books magazines etc to look at. We would of loved to own that flat ourselves, so lovelly in there. The owner met us on arrival she was really nice, hence we were an hour late arriving. 57 steps to get up there, we managed it though. We will think about going back sometime next year. Thank you.
