These delightful former farm buildings, set in 100 acres of livestock farm close to the owner’s home, have been converted and equipped to provide good sized holiday accommodation with the disabled in mind, with a riser recliner chair in each property. One of the island’s most popular attractions, Osborne House and Gardens, Queen Victoria’s favourite former residence, is within easy reach via the floating bridge from West Cowes to East Cowes. There are many beaches (sandy or shingle) to explore as well as the breathtaking coastal scenery around the island. Visit Carisbrooke Castle, various wildlife centres, adventure parks, bird and donkey sanctuary, the amazing rock formations of The Needles, many NT Homes, Calbourne Water Mill, pottery making, glass blowing, lilac and garlic farms, as well as many tea rooms. The Heritage Coastline, 150 yards away, offers excellent walking, whilst reed beds make for ideal bird watching. Cowes is great for sailing, whilst the island, renowned for its temperate climate has much to suit all tastes. Shop 4 miles, pub 2 miles. Both properties: NSH, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Cot and high chair on request. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washer/dryer. Patio and sitting-out area. Parking. One pet only (under strict control, working farm). NB: There is a pond and stream close to the property.

  1. Being on a working farm, it was the only property that catered for my disabled needs and that of a working dog both on holiday. It was quiet, and the farmer could not help enough, was friendly and was on site if i needed him. Overall- Excellent and hope to return in the future. Sept 2012.

  7. Nice and quiet location; sea view, only few minutes walk to the beach. Rooms are nice and clean, facilities are excellent, Super Market and nearest town is only 5 mails away. Can travel to anywhere in Isle of Wight from the cottage; Will try to select the same place if I have to visit the island again. April 2011.

  12. The accommodation was better than expected. More could have been of the fact that it is so close to the sea, just a gentle stroll down a farm track and you are on the beach - wasn’t expecting that at all because it was hard to judge distance from the brochure photo. The accommodation had everything we need0ed. Lovely views and a nice patio area, which could have done with being gated off for people with dogs who need a little fresh air too. It was the perfect base from which to explore the Island. May 2010.
