This detached former guest house has panoramic views of the Cors Caron Nature Reserve and over to the Cambrian Mountains. It is ideal for walkers, bird watchers and cyclists, (mountain bikes for hire), and overlooks the River Teifi, renowned for its salmon fishing, and has fishing rights on the river. Explore the mountains, stroll by the seaside, visit the narrow gauge railway and historic castle at Aberystwyth (16 miles) or Aberaeron with its picturesque harbour (17 miles). Visit the old market town of Machynlleth, with its Centre for Alternative Technology or Corris, with a craft centre and King Arthur’s Labyrinth. The historic market town of Tregaron (1 mile) has shops, pub and restaurants. Shops, pubs and restaurants 1 mile.

  1. This is a great house for a large family holiday ( there were 12 of us ages 3 to 72). Well equipped and comfortable. June 2012.
  2. I arranged the week for my wife’s family (10 adults and 10 children between 4 and 17) and the property was plenty big enough for all of us. The dining room seated us all at the same time and there is a separate building with games room and utility room that was excellent. Feb 2012.

  4. The property has a good sized garden and plenty of bedrooms many en suite which makes it good family accommodation. There is a great little sandy bay at New Quay which is a lovely little town with good parking a short walk from the beach, a working harbour running boat trips to see dolphins. There are plenty of small shops in New Quay and lots of atmosphere. I understand that there are good walks around the accommodation but we only found put about these at the end of our visit so if you enjoy walking or jogging check the ample literature early in your stay or speak to the owners about where to go. There is also a wonderful National Park area a short drive away which makes for great family walks which are all pushchair/wheelchair friendly - lots of red kites and even a snake! Sept 2011.

  6. With a very large party including some over70s I chose Neudd Las because of the number on ensuite bathrooms -- this was a great blessing. Mid-Wales itself is a hidden gem and the property superb. The games room is well equiped if you don’t feel like going out in rain. July 2011.
  7. An excellent location with high standard rooms suitble for families, couples and singles. The cottage was very spacious with a well equipped kitchen and dining room. June 2011.

Our university gang have been meeting up for a weeks holiday for 13 years now and this was the best property we have found for our group which now consists of 13 adults, 6 children over the age of 3 and 2 babies. The property was very spacious and it was great having so many bathrooms. There was lots to do in the nearby areas. Overall a fantastic find and we would definitely recommend for big parties.   12. The house was perfect for us (10 adults, 8 kids) there was plenty of room for everyone either to be together or have time on their own. Everything we needed was provided (there was even a cake waiting for us on our arrival!) and the owners were very helpful. July 2010.

  15. This is an excellent house with plenty of space for 20 peoples. We were 7 families including 20 adults and children as well as 5 babies and the house provides all the necessary facilities and more. Moreover, the owners who live nearby was very kind, friendly and helpful. They maintain the house to a very high standard and the photos cannot tell you how excellent it is! I recommend it and will certaily take it again! Mar 2010.
