A pair of traditional Welsh cottages, Y Beudy (ref OH9) and Ystabl (ref OXN) are set in the tranquil grounds of Mwdlwscwm Farm (a non-working farm). Close to the owner’s home, these quaint holiday properties boast character throughout and are ideally situated in the Welsh countryside. Nearby are golf clubs, nature reserves and historic villages and towns which enchant this part of Carmarthenshire. The sea is less than a 15-minute drive, and this part of Wales boasts some of the most stunning coastlines in the UK. Shop 3 miles, pub ¾ mile. Note: These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 5 guests.

  6. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The property is quite and has an isolated feel despite being right off an A road. Michael, the owner , is one of the nicest people we have met, friendly and caring but not intrusive. We had a very nice week despite the weather and would recommend Ystabl. Sept 2011.

  8. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing rural retreat with friendly, helpful owners, this is the property for you. Within a 45 minute drive of mountains, caves, waterfalls, coastal walks and castles, it’s hard to run out of things to do if the weather holds. If it doesn’t, Swansea’s National Waterfront Museum (free entry) is well worth a visit. July 2011.

  16. It was very cosy and homely. The owners added many extras eg fresh eggs and milk in the fridge, fresh flowers, bottle of wine, Welsh cakes, tea, coffee & sugar. Extremely well equipped with quality crockery, saucepans etc. Sept 2010.
