3 miles. Varied choice of eating places, shops and entertainment in Berwick. Shops 3 miles, pub 1½ miles.

  1. This property felt rural yet was just less than a mile from the A1 so it was brilliant when it came to visiting other places. And we weren’t far from the supermarket too which was handy. March 2012.
  2. A very well equipped and furnished property which was perfect for a weekend break in Northumberland. It is part of a courtyard development so parking was at a premium but overall good accommodation and good location for exploring the county. Jan 2012.

We liked the situation of the property, i.e. in a courtyard and the property itself was enclosed by a wall and gate both at the front and rear, which was ideal as we had an 18 month old toddler in our party. It was also in a very quiet and peaceful location, which was beautifully maintained. Very picturesque indeed. May 2010.

  12. The cottage was clean, modern and bright and in a beautiful location. It was well equipped although some maintenance issues had not been addressed, even though some of them had been reported. We could not get the underfloor heating to work in the en suite bathroom, but the rest of the cottage was lovely and warm. Overall, it was a superb holiday cottage and one which I would use again.   13. A beautifully furnished property with awesome views in a very quiet area. Some minor maintenance needed to the property i.e. toilet roll holders off the wall etc. But only small things. Didn’t detract from our stay at all. Sept 2009.

  15. good size, convenient for our party of family plus grandparents. Lovely location with beautiful views. Unfortunately the bedroom linen was not particularly clean and we had to change the sheets ourselves in 2 of the bedrooms. Sept 2009.

Great property - high spec kitchen (all mod cons plus the extras you don’t always get in rentals such as cafetiere/toaster/huge amount of crockery and cutlery - helpful if you’re catering for numbers). Very comfortable lounge area (again range of DVD’s provided and reading material) and again high spec bathrooms. Rural outlook all aspects but easy to find with directions. Would definitely revisit it. Feb 2009.
  20. Great part of the country, cottage (I believe it’s "new" to the holiday let system) beautifully presented & though in-the-country, still very handy for all necessary amenities. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or to recommend to others. Nov 2008.
