In Yarcombe near the old lace town of Honiton, lie these two holiday barn conversions, situated in stunningly beautiful open countryside, with fine views over the Yarty Valley and Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Moxhayes Barn (ref 19776) is unusual and a little quirky, but offers comfort and peace and quiet whilst Moxhayes Cottage (ref 19777) offers cosy accommodation for 4 guests. Offering a good touring base, with many attractions within easy driving distance. The World Heritage Coastline of Lyme Bay is a must, as is Exeter cathedral city with its many attractions and day trips to the south coast resorts of Lyme Regis, Seaton and Sidmouth. Enjoy days out at Crealy Adventure Park, Killerton House and Gardens. Many scenic country walks and village pubs, or explore nearby Honiton. Guided walks on the Jurassic Coast by arrangement. Golf available nearby. Shops 5 miles, pub 1 mile. Properties 19776 and 19777 can be booked together to accommodate up to 6 guests.

  1. Had a very relaxing week, accommodation was very comfortable. Stunning views in a rural location good to get away from the ratrace. Loved the owners dogs coming to visit for a play. Owners very friendly had a bottle of wine and pint of milk in the fridge so we could make a cuo tea. Definitley would go again. June 2012.

We fortunately had wonderful weather and managed to visit the seaside each day (different locations - all within an easy drive - loved exploring all the back country lanes), although when we originally booked holiday thought that would be the last thing we would do. A very chillaxing holiday. Lovely property for 2 with a small dog. Missed having a proper oven but hey ho if that is the only thing in life I have to worry about I must sad! March 2012.

  10. The holiday that my wife and i booked with your company, would be without doubt the best we have enjoyed for many a year. The property itself was excellent, clean tidy and felt like home. Access to many of the beautiful places to visit were stress free and easily driven to. Upon arrival we were amazed at the beautiful setting the converted barn was situated, and the wonderful views you had from the unbelieveable but creative triangular window. I would recommend Moxhayes Barn as the perfect holiday for any couple who enjoys countryside at its best, with the added knowledge of seaside places to visit within easy reach. My compliments to your company for providing my wife and i with this holiday. June 2008.

  12. The cottage was perfect for our holiday, the owners were very friendly, and made you feel welcome. There were some lovely places to visit in the surrounding areas and there were plenty of leaflets to look through and see where you would like to go. Feb 2009.
