Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Moorview was a real home from home with nice "extras" such as a home made cake, bread and milk on arrival. Immaculately clean and benefiting from the owners on hand living next door to answer any queries, a particularly welcome feature in winter is the under floor heating in both bathrooms and the delightful garden room. Taking 3 teenagers to the middle of nowhere in February is a challenge; but the comments were "it’s been a great holiday, much better than we thought it would be"! Feb 2012.
  2. Perfect location for the upper Dales , house comfortable and well presented. Oct 2011.
  3. Excellent, clean, well equipped cottage, very good location. Oct 2011.
  4. This cottage was beautiful both inside and out, very well kept with lovely touches in every room giving it a very homely feel. Aug 2011.
  5. A fantastic cottage. Very comfortable and well appointed. Faye and David were always on hand and were great hosts. Beautiful scenery in every direction and fantastic walking right from the doorstep. A quiet friendly pub serving excellent food was just two doors away. What a treat. Perfect relaxing holiday. April 2011.
  6. A very warm and inviting cottage, the owners made us very welcome and even baked a lovely home made cake. The area was beautiful, views of the Dales all around the cottage, been refurbished to a very high standard. First visit to the dales and enjoyed every moment, will definitely visit again! Some amazing walks direct from the cottage. Highly recommend the Punch Bowl Inn - some amazing local food! April 2011.
  7. Excellent cottage, well located for walking, and having everything needed for a very relaxing holiday. April 2011.
  8. Ideally situated in a beautiful setting for superb walks and spectacular views, excellent pub close by that served really good food. Oct 2010.
  9. A very well equipped cottage, with lots of thoughtful extras provided. It is extremely comfortable, with a delightful garden room providing a space to relax in the evening sun. The location and views are stunning - in the heart of Swaledale. Sept 2010.
  10. A friendly welcome with a delicious home made cake. We loved this cottage, especially the relaxing garden room and the proximity to the friendly pub with excellent food. Aug 2010.
  11. The cottage had been renovated to a very high standard and provide six elderly adults with a wonderful weeks accommodation. July 2010.
  12. The entire property was immaculately maintained. The owners, who lived next door, were very helpful to us in every way and very eager to tell us of all the walks and activities locally. July 2010.
  13. This cottage has recently been renovated and is very nicely decorated, tastefully furnished and spacious with fantastic view over Swaledale. The owner lives next door and is extremely helpful for giving tips about possible walking/hiking options. A very good pub is just a few houses down the road. I am recommending this cottage highly! July 2010.
  14. We were entirely satisfied with the property. Our hosts, Faye and David were very helpful on local attractions and restaurants and made lots of small gestures to make our arrival and stay all the more enjoyable. We greatly appreciated their welcome. June 2010.
  15. The standard of the property was very good with excellent facilities. The location awas ideal for walking in the area, the scenery from the cottage was lovely and there was a tranquil quality about the whole location.
  16. The property was decorated to a very high standard. It was very comfortable. The owners were very welcoming & had supplied all sorts of little extras that you don’t normally find in holiday cottages. We’re delighted that we chose this property. May 2010.
  17. Perfect setting, beds that didnt sink in the middle, good kitchen facilities including knives which were sharp and knowledgeable hosts. May 2010.
  18. The property was presented in absolutely excellent condition. Everything was spotlessley clean and there was even a home make cake on arrival. We would rate this as one of the best properties we have stayed in. May 2010.
  19. The property was of a very high standard, there were a lot of small extra’s provided e.g hairdryer, several kitchen consumables and a very nice homemade cake. The only problem, because our group were going out separately was maintaining contact as there was no mobile phone coverage until we reached Richmond or Leyburn, therefore perhaps the property could have benefited from a pay-phone/phone for incoming calls only. April 2010.
  20. Well equipped cottage with fantastic views over Swaledale. Feb 2010.
