Peacefully located with outstanding views over glorious Devon countryside, just a short drive to the breathtaking North Devon Coast and the Hartland Peninsula. Moorhead Farm is the perfect holiday choice for family and friends at any time of year. This small friendly, family run complex of 17 properties, which can all be booked together, has fantastic on-site facilities including a heated indoor swimming pool (open all year) and hot tub area, a well-equipped gym and games room as well as a sauna and solarium (at cost). Outside there is a 1½-acre, well-stocked fishing lake, with carp weighing as much as 20lb, in stunning surroundings and 9-hole pitch and putt course which takes you around the complex’s 10-acre site. In the evening there is a delightful fully licensed bar and restaurant to enjoy and give a relaxing end to the day (open Apr-Oct, Feb half term, Xmas & New Year). There is plenty to keep everyone entertained whatever the weather, if guests can drag themselves away this stunning location is perfect to explore the dramatic north Cornwall and Devon coastline. The pretty town of Bideford, a short journey away, has a good range of facilities and a trip to Lundy Island can be organised from the quayside. Westward Ho! has a long stretch of sand and good surf. Both walkers and cyclists will enjoy the nearby Tarka Trail and this is the perfect touring base to explore the delights of both North Devon and North Cornwall. Coastal walks, and for family fun, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way Adventure Park are a must. Garden lovers will enjoy RHS Rosemoor and Docton Mill, and there are many pretty fishing villages nearby including Clovelly, Instow and Appledore. The popular Cornish resort of Bude has fantastic beaches renowned for excellent surfing whilst the vibrant town centre has a vast array of good restaurants and bars. Tennis, horse riding, mountain boarding and surfing are all on offer locally and for a great day out, why not visit the famous Eden Project. Shop 1 mile.

Bullfinch is a Barn Apartment
Situated in a barn conversion, this is a cosy and charming apartment in a quiet part of the complex, but within easy access to all facilities. These apartments adjoin open fields and overlook the countryside. They are particularly designed for couples in mind, and children under 10 years are not accepted in these apartments.
All on first floor: Living/dining room/kitchen. 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and toilet.

    • 3. The Competition opens at 09.00 GMT on 25/03/2013 and closes on 31/07/2013 at 23.59 GMT. Entries received after this time and date will not be accepted. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt.
    • 4. Lucky Ted must be photographed enjoying any aspect of a UK holiday. Finders may keep Lucky Ted or leave him in the property for the next lucky finders.
    • 5. Only photos clearly depicting an original Lucky Ted wearing his cottages4you tee-shirt will be accepted. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any images they submit have been taken with the permission of any subject and do not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws.
    • 6. Entrants must confirm their booking reference number and cottage reference or name when submitting entries and can enter as many different photos showing Lucky Ted as they wish.
    • 7. We reserve the right to provide alternative monthly prizes of similar value should they become unavailable for any reason.
