Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Lovely cottage, very romantic, would suit just two people. Would love to go back again. Lack of food storage place. Dec 2012.
  2. Overall accommodation was excellent. With a well fitted, modern kitchen and a comfortable sitting room and a spacious bedroom. The bed was also comfortable. It was very very dark at night even with the curtains open and as the upper floors are very uneven a small dim light on the landing would be useful. In all an enjoyable holiday. April 2012.
  3. Very cosy, numerous amenities, and thoughtful guest basket. April 2012.
  4. A very welcoming and comfortable cottage where no touches have been forgotten, and the welcome pack was a very pleasant surprise. Watch the upstairs floors after the extra sherry! Even though the cottage was in the centre of town there were no external noises at night. For a special meal out the Riverside Inn at Amestrey is well worth the short drive. Sept 2011.
  5. Beautiful homely cottage. With everything you could ever think of having - we took things anticipating cooking without much needed utensils etc and found it to be better stocked than most cook shops! Also fantastically helpful house/local area guide compiled by the owner, maps and books of the region, things to do, suggestions, and then the books around the house enough to keep even the keenest book-lover occupied should the weather turn sour - which it fortunately didn’t. The layout and little things like the ornaments and pictures added to make this somewhere that you could feel truly at home in. Molly’s Cottage was a wonderful little place to stay and a great place to explore at least 3 county’s from! Just wish we had time to stay another week! July 2011.
  6. Great base for touring Mid-Wales, Hereford and Shropshire. Beautiful cottage with lots of special features, The scones and wine were a great welcoming touch, would stay there again. June 2011.
  7. Quaint cottage, excellent location and cosy log burner. Lots of thoughtful touches e.g: welcome basket with scones and jam. May 2011.
  8. Mollys Cottage at Knighton was so quaint and comfortable. Our holiday was very relaxing in lovely surroundings. The cottage was well equipped, there was nothing that was not included to make a perfect, relaxing holiday. Ludlow was approx 14 miles away and well worth a visit. We would love to return sometime in the future. March 2011.
  9. Molly’s Cottage was fabulous. The attention to detail was amazing, a credit to the owners and representatives. Totally felt at home, we wanted for nothing. Lovely welcome even though the gent had to come and find us in the snow. Will definitely be back. Nov 2010.
  10. Cosy. Quiet. Well-appointed. Comfortable. Quaint. Aug 2010.
  11. Molly’s Cottage was a magical place which exceeded our expectations. The presentation, location and attention to detail made it hard to leave. June 2010.
  12. Because it ticked all the boxes, it felt like a home from home. The village is very nice and friendly and there are wonderful walks in the area. May 2010.
  13. Characterful building, well furnished and equipped, quiet but central town location. Good to be able to park right outside, but narrow access so not ideal for large estate cars. A genuine retreat. April 2010.
  14. Excellent superbly equipped cottage in great location. March 2010.
  15. Charming, quaint with period features including delightful sloping floors. Perfectly located for walking into town. Feb 2010.
  16. It was a dream. So comfortable did not want to leave. Feb 2010.
  17. Molly’s Cottage was perfect in every way!!! From the minute we got out of the car in front of the cottage until we walked down the steps on our departure everything was spectacular! We had the best weekend! Many thanks to the owner for ensuring the cottage is an idyllic little retreat! Sept 2009.
  18. Everything was of an excellent standard with lots of extra touches. Sept 2009.
  19. Excellent property with a great deal of charm. Everything was clean and well presented. Everything we needed for a family of four was there. A great centre for visiting the area. Aug 2009.
  20. An unusual but charming cottage in a very handy location. Period features were combined with modern conveniences. The owners had provided much reading material about the local area and the wine/milk/break/jam found on arrival made us feel most welcome. June 2009.
