This semi-detached modern apartment situated in a converted traditional barn, is located in a small agricultural village and makes an ideal holiday base to discover Burgundy, including its historic and magical places such as Beaune, Dijon, Vézelay, Cluny, its castles and numerous romanesque churches, its picturesque medieval villages, not to mention its Wine Roads.

The surrounding countryside is ideal to go walking and cycling.

The spacious ground floor of the property, renovated and tastefully decorated, leads to a peaceful garden ideal for a well-deserved rest. The owner speaks English.

Shop 10m, café/bar, restaurant and beach 9km.

All on ground floor: Lounge/kitchen/diner, utility room, shower room with toilet and basin, double bed in lounge.

Electric heating, all power included in rent, €5 per day heating supplement (when used), bed linen and towels included in rent, colour TV, DVD player, wi-fi, washing machine, freezer, microwave, enclosed lawned garden, garden furniture, barbecue, off road parking for 1 car. One pet welcome.

This charming gite surpassed all expectations: the renovations have been done to an extremely high standard, and the property is immaculately kept, comfortable and well-equipped with modern IKEA furnishings (wonderful compact kitchen!). It is set in the most beautiful and idyllic French hamlet. A great spot for touring round the region, or for basking in the sun outside, with a handy shop across the road in emergencies, but not too far from the supermarket in the next village. The owner, who lives next door, was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, a great host, but not intrusive, and speaks excellent English. Can’t wait for next Summer! Sept 2011.
  2. Set in the heart of a small rural village, opposite the shop, this Gite has a lovely simple modern interior within an ancient building. Our host was very helpful in making our stay enjoyable. It is a good base from which to explore the hilly countryside, historic sites and local cuisine - for the fit cyclist. July 2011.

  5. It was absolutely excellent in every respect, very tastefully renovated and every need possible was catered for even down to tea, coffee, olive oil etc. in the cupboards. Owner very friendly and helpful. Sept 2009.
  6. I have a house in France and do spend a lot of time there. I can not fault any aspect of the service which you provide and I would certainly use you again and recommend you to others. As a photographer I travel a lot in Europe and although my reservation was made at very short notice nothing appeared to be to much trouble for your staff. Well done. Sept 2008.

If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
