With lovely sea views overlooking Pendeen Watch lighthouse, this delightful converted barn is just off the coastal path on the edge of the village which lies between St Just and St Ives. The cosy detached accommodation benefits from slate floor with underfloor heating, stable door to living room, oak kitchen/dining room with patio doors to the well-stocked patio garden with raised beds, sitting area, barbecue and sea views. Nearby are the sandy beaches of Portherras Cove, Sennen, the mining heritage at Geevor Tin Mine, Lands End, Tate Gallery at St Ives, and Penzance. The local village has a pub and shop, with easy access to the rugged local coastline. Shop ¼ mile.

  1. The mini barn is perfect for 2 and being able to take dogs is great. TV in the bedroom is an asset although signal can cut in and out a little. Kitchen is well equipped and bigger than expected...... You need to buy a new vacuum cleaner that one is pretty useless. Great place!! July 2012.

  6. Cosy cottage as described, excellent location with lots of walks for our dog. Brilliant fish and chip shop at top of road and pubs very welcoming. Nice touch with the tea, biscuits and flowers on our arrival. Had excellent weather so we were able to spend a day on the beach. Sept 2011.
  7. The cottage is cosy and comfortable and the location is suberb. It is only a short walk from the sea and the coast path. I found the ruins of the old tin mines fascinating and would recommend a visit to the Geevor mine. Sept 2011.
  8. The cottage was warm and cheerful, the garden excellent. The bed was very comfortable. The sofa was lumpy and uncomfortable. We could not discover how to adjust the underfloor heating. June 2011.
  9. We found this cottage to be an excellent hide away for two people. It was very comfortable and well equipped and had everything we required for our stay. June 2011.
  10. Paddle stairs are very steep and not unlike a ladder, but otherwise ok. Close to SW coastal path so great for walks. May 2011.

  12. Fantastic and cosy little converted barn. the underfloor heating was a real treat. Everything you could ask for with the amenties. and lovely surprise of the flowers, biscuits, milk and tea. The other little extras hidden away was fab like the flask and torches. made for a lovely lil trip down to the coastal path which was 5 mins walk. Was always arm and cosy with additional towels supplied. The stairs would be difficult for those which difficulty climbing. but this was well stated before booking. A fantastic little get away!!   13. Wonderful little converted barn situated in a quiet village, beautiful view from the garden. Would suit drivers better as all surrounding places of interest are a few miles away. Would totally recommend to anyone. Feb 2011.

  18. Me & my husband & Harvey (standard Poodle) loved the Mini Barn for its quiet location on the rugged west coast of Cornwall, excellent for coastal walks and within driving distance for lovely beaches. The Mini Barn is home from home but better. May 2010.
