Property Description

This cosy and compact renovated barn is situated on its own next to a small brook and makes an ideal holiday destination to really get away from life’s hustle and bustle. It lies next to a small stable yard and looks out over rolling Devon hills and a large pond (which guests can fish in on request). There is a secluded decked area to sit out and enjoy the surroundings. The stunning North Devon coastline has lots to offer, great surfing at Croyde and Woolacombe, great walking along the coast path and places of interest at Lynmouth, Ilfracombe and Combe Martin. Other activities include golf, fishing, riding and cycling on the Tarka Trail. Beach approximately 15 mins. Shop 2 miles, pub 1 mile.

  6. This is a fabulous cottage for a quiet, relaxing holiday for two. The cottage and its setting are beautiful, the horses were not a problem - quite the opposite and the local owners were very thoughtful of our needs and helpful. Thoroughly recommended. We would also recommend the Pyne Arms PH for good value, honest pub grub and an enchanting atmosphere. We cycled the Tarka Trail and the Granite Way - great trails, good surfacing and directions, variety of good tea rooms, but also some challenging hills when off the disused railway. June 2011.
  7. We had a very pleasant few days at Meadow Mill Cottage. It’s perfect for a couple and ideally located, within easy reach of Exmoor and the entire North Devon coast. The owners were very friendly and gave us lots of good advice on the best beaches and local activities. April 2011.

  20. The property was absolutely gorgeous! A real home from home. The description of being able to get away from lifes hustle and bustle was 100% accurate! The location was perfect for what I was looking for, not too far from Woolacombe beach. It was also close to many other attractions such as Arlington Court. The owner was so friendly but not intrusive - the horses in the stable yard right next to the cottage suited me fine but may not be for some people. The cottage was so well presented and clean, I could have stayed there forever. May 2010.
