Situated between Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth, this adjoining converted cider mill lies on the edge of a village within the owner’s grounds with great views. The holiday property is eco-friendly, with contemporary rooms and oak joinery throughout. Explore the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean, with Hereford, Gloucester, Cheltenham and Cardiff within easy driving. Canoeing on the Wye, fishing, golfing and riding will all be found within the area. Shop 2 miles, pub 400 yards.

Open-plan, beamed living/dining room with wood-burning stove, French doors and kitchen area with Travertine stone floor. First floor: Double bedroom with 5ft bed, oak floor and en-suite bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet.

  3. The accommodation was done out excellently, and was lovely and clean and in a beautiful location. The kitchen was well equipped (though dishwasher and oven were a little flakey) and we enjoyed the use of the woodburner to offset the dreadful weather. The local pub, though fairly basic as far as food goes was very nice and friendly. The nearby Symonds Yat is very pretty though getting to it and then parking can be a bit of a challenge - but worth it. June 2012.

  9. This renovation was done to an exceptional quality, with a mixture of contemporary fittings and individual art work which made staying in the property a joy. The owners were very welcoming, and not intrusive even though they lived on the same plot. In terms of our dog, again the owners were welcoming and relaxed about an animal in their property.   11. A rural idle. Peaceful rolling countryside. The property was very clean and well equipped. Simple but stylish accomadation. (The wood burner completed a perfect cottage) No complaints apart from the noise of the birds in the morning. The best out of your company we have stayed in out of 8 others. April 2011.

  18. The property was located near enough to main roads for easy days out but was in a very tranquil rural location with views across open countryside and a beautiful garden. It was well furnished and cosy with a well equipped modern kitchen. The owners Lynette and Ken were very welcoming and helpful with local information; they even made our border collie feel very welcome! Aug 2010.
