Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. I would highly recommend Cawsand and Kingsand as places to visit, as well as Whitsand Bay. Lovely to have a cream tea left for us on the first day, I do think people need to be aware that there isn’t any food stuffs available in the cottage such as store cupboard salt, pepper herbs spices etc you have to take everything. July 2012.
  2. A fabulous house in a quiet location, a good place to catch up with friends. Oct 2011.
  3. A great location, and a lovely well equipped cottage, will come back again. Sept 2011.
  4. Very nice house, and much bigger and more private than is evident from the website, including much more garden than we expected. The house and facilities are generally of a high standard, and owner very welcoming and helpful if needed. Cream tea on arrival was lovely, after trip of several hours. Many sights of Cornwall are within quite easy reach (1 hour ish) and the only slight disappointment was the inclement weather - we can’t blame your company for that! Aug 2011.
  5. Lovely converted barn, much bigger than expected and the views to Plymouth were a real bonus. The surrounding garden was so lovely we ate outside each day. Aug 2011.
  6. Very quiet location without many local places to visit but would suit walkers very well. Well run pub a short walk away. Stunning views across the Taymar estuary with wild life including deer in the fields. Steep and narrow country lanes need care. June 2011.
  7. Delightful accommodation, lovely views, certainly met all our expectations. Thank you. June 2011.
  8. Great location and ideal accommodation for families and groups of friends. Close proximity to nearest town, Torpoint, and short trip to nearest pub. We were a family group of 4 adults and a baby, and the barn suited us very well. May 2011.
  9. Fantastic views. Dec 2010.
  10. Beautifully appointed, in a glorious spot. The gardens are quite stunning and the views awesome. The owner seemed to have forgotten nothing. The cream tea welcome was just grand. We will definitely return to this unspoilt corner of Cornwall. Sept 2010.
  11. One of the best properties we have stayed in. Spacious, clean, very well equipped with everything we needed, comfortable beds, quiet location, nice garden and views. Good base for access to that area of Cornwall and also to Plymouth. Cream tea and basket of eggs a welcome addition! Sept 2010.
  12. An excellently appointed property in a beautiful setting. Extremely helpful owner who provided eggs, milk and a delicious cream tea for our arrival. May 2010.
  13. Little gem in a special corner of Cornwall. April 2010.
  14. Very spacious and well furnished. In a good location to access the places we wanted to visit. Oct 2009.
  15. An excellent location with a traditional setting. July 2009.
  16. Excellent accommodation and quite well placed as a base for exploring area although narrow single track roads can be a bit of a challenge. Spacious and spotlessly clean. Could happily live there full time unlike other cottages which can be much more cramped than home. Got the impression no expense had been spared in setting up the home for enjoyment of holidaymakers. Also lovely views. Easily the best cottage we have visited in about 15 years as your customers . July 2009.
  17. We love this property. It is out third stay and it is always wonderful. A secret part of Cornwall away from the crowds. June 2009.
  18. Unstinting provision of loo rolls, dishwasher powder, soap - all the little things that improve on an already well-furnished and well-equipped holiday home. Sept 2009.
  19. Wonderful welcome combined with superb accommodation and location made for a perfect holiday - this was our 2nd visit and we are planning a 3rd! July 2008.
  20. The property is absolutely faultless. Beautiful location and superb amenities. One of our children fell ill on our holiday and the owner attended the house and gave every assistance possible to find a doctor an d help us in the circumstances. It is the second time we have stayed there and we will return. Highly recommended. Oct 2007.
