Property Description

This terraced holiday cottage provides delightful accommodation with stunning views of the harbour from the rear windows and the garden. The Marina features restaurants, bars, a gallery, museum and ten pin bowling. Within an easy drive lies Broad Haven with an expanse of golden sand, bathing, and rock pools. Boats to the marine reserve islands of Skomer and Stokholm leave from Martin’s Haven. Dale beach is popular with sailors and windsurfers. Shop, pub and restaurant 150 yards.

Ground floor: Living/dining room. Kitchen with patio doors. First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double (5ft four poster, with dual system adjustable beds), 1 twin. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Electric coal-effect fire in living room included. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Freesat TV. Electric cooker. Washing machine. Tumble dryer. Fridge/freezer. Enclosed garden with patio, sitting-out area and furniture. Public car park, 50 yards. Welcome pack.

  1. Thank you for the milk/tea/coffee/sugar, much needed after a long journey. On the whole St Annes Road was a comfortable and warm home from home. It was great to have two large sofas to relax on at the end of a tiring day exploring. The bed was wonderfully comfortable (but rather squeaky, but this can’t be helped apart from as a previous holiday maker suggested; put a pillow behind the headboard - it works). St Annes is spacious and once the heating is on is fantastically warm. The bathroom was brilliant - so much room. We were totally spoilt for space and comfort. The washing machine was a great bonus, which was needed often after our long wet walks because of the rain. Freeview was good and we managed to get mobile reception with O2 and Vodaphone. We just suggest that an instructions booklet should be made available for the heating/hot water system, washing machine, TV/freeview etc. Wifi would be a helpful addition too so that we can plan our days out. And recycling instructions would be appreciated. The bins were different to those in our county so we ended up not recycling anything. It would also be nice to have menus for all local takeaways including address and map of premises. A map locating all of the hospitals etc in the area would also be good besides the address itself; as the address means nothing to us as we do not know the area, we would not know which would be the nearest. More leaflets for days out would be appreciated. (We did leave a few). Please mend the kitchen drawer so that the utensils can be hidden away rather than on the side in the kitchen. That was our few niggles; sorry to sound picky, but they are only little things. But all in all we had a lovely stay and the property was a good one. Thank you. Nov 2012.
