  6. Manorview Cottage is a beautiful place to stay ... the owner Gill was very welcoming and has done an amazing job here. The kitchen especially is wonderful! The only down side was the location of the property. The description on the website makes you believe it is in a tranquil location on a village green ... the actuality is West Auckland is a bit run down with a very busy road right next to the property which woke us up constantly at about 6am. It was such a shame as the property itself couldn’t have been faulted! March 2011.
