These two detached Colonial style houses with their shady verandas offer cosy accommodation, neighbouring a working farm. Being light and with spacious interiors and exposed beams, these houses are suitable for wheelchair users with extra wide doors and a downstairs shower room in each property. A shared children’s play area including swings, slide and a large garden to play is available. Explore the countryside or visit the amazing Opal Coast with miles of sandy beaches to enjoy. Visit St Omer with its cathedral and churches or walk the ramparts at the historic town of Montreuil-sur-Mer. W12799 has table football. Restaurant lovers will enjoy the variety of traditional and modern cuisine available in the region and if you don’t fancy venturing too far away there is a nice restaurant just 500 m from the properties.

Ground floor: Lounge/kitchen/diner, bathroom with shower over bath, separate shower, toilet and basin, 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 adult bunk. First floor: Shower room with toilet and basin, 1 double bedroom. Mezzanine with sofa bed.

Oil central heating, open fire in lounge (initial supply of fuel provided), all other fuel and power included May to September, €40 supplement October to April, bed linen and towels included in rent, cot, highchair, colour satellite TV, DVD player, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave, shared lawned garden, patio, garden furniture, ample off road parking. Sorry, no pets. No smoking please.

  5. Manningham was an excellent base for our holiday. Beautiful cottage with all modern conveniences and comfortable seating and beds. Tranquil setting and lovely grounds with resident Peacock and Peahen along with their 3 baby chicks! The owner had limited English but that gave us a chance to practice our French and she was very friendly and helpful. Easy access to neighbouring towns and villages and supermarkets including Aldi! Sept 2011.
  6. Super quiet location about 30 minutes from the beaches. We had 2 grandchildren with us one of which is 2. He was able to play outside with minimal supervision. Nearby restaurant within easy walking distance although kitchen well equipped. Aug 2011.
  7. Lovely house on a farm with lots of animals to see and touch, very safe for children no through traffic to worry about, nice playground as well. Had a couple of problems but the owner sorted them out in no time at all with a very friendly atitude. July 2011.
  8. This is the 2nd time staying in this property, had lovely open fires in the evening. The location is great to do day trips from, the garden is lovely and big. Oct 2010.

  10. This was our fourth annual visit as a group to the property. It still remains in excellent condition and the contents provided leaves very little missing to make the location an ideal site for both couples and families. The proximity to a working farm and the well equipped play area is great for children. We intend to return again! May 2010.

  12. Very child friendly - included safety gates, high chair. Welcome pack was superb --we have been travelling to France for 40 years and this was the best pack ever. Lovely property and our 2 year old grandchild enjoyed feeding the horse and playing in the sand pit. Excellent all round, would recommend it to anyone with young children, very safe surroundings.   13. Very fresh and airy to enter, all furniture and equipment well kept and not over used. All the rooms of generous size with no feeling of being crowded. Aug 2009.
  14. The accommodation was better than anticipated, it was light and airy and had plenty of room, it was lovely and warm. We were given a pile of wood to light the open fire which we were not expecting. The welcome pack was fantastic - again not expected. The accommodation felt very fresh and clean. We would recommend this property to anyone and would love to go back! The only criticisms is that the upstairs bedroom could do with a mirror or dressing table? Oct 2009.

  16. This was our second visit to the property and on returning to the UK I have already booked to go again. It is in a perfect place for touring the area and the location of the house is lovely. You really get to experience the real France. April 2008.

  18. We spent a lovely Christmas holiday here. The house was ideal for our families and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Christmas day with the log fire burning was wonderful. Le Touquet was very pretty at night. Dec 2007.
