Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Cottage very well presented and welcoming with tea, coffee, cake and beautifully arranged flowers left in the kitchen. It was a relief, also, to find stores such as salt, pepper, sugar, eggs and milk. Arriving to an unknown village, it was therefore possible to have a meal before having to worry about shopping. Heating was on at a low constant temperature making the cottage feel always cosy. Sept 2012.
  2. As in our previous visit the cottage lived up to our expectations and apart from one solvable problem we had nothing to spoil our holiday. We hope to return next year as the whole experience is very enjoyable. Sept 2012.
  3. Lovely cottage in wonderful location at centre of village and accessible to a large area of places - Dales, Moors, etc. June 2012.
  4. This was our first experience in taking a cottage and we would certainly go again. The cottage was well fitted out with lots of information on the locality and things to do. A welcome tray and heat made our arrival on a wet day a pleasant experience. The village itself was picturesque and the people very friendly. April 2012.
  5. The cottage is ideally situated in the middle of the village, well placed by the local cafe and pub. The cottage is beautiful and very homely. It has everything you need including milk and tea to start your stay off perfectly. We loved this cottage and our stay and would recommend it to anybody who wants a quiet break and spend sometime visiting the dales and Yorkshire. There is plenty of information in the cottage of tourist attractions and local events. March 2012.
  6. A very comfortable cottage with excellent fixtures and fittings. Dec 2011.
  7. Very pleasant cottage. Well equipped. Thoughtful owners. Everything worked. Sept 2011.
  8. This was our sixth visit to this cottage and have already booked for September 2012 which no doubt says it all. The owner was there to welcome us and a welcome tray was provided which is always appreciated. Details of local places of interest were provided. All in all another excellent holiday. June 2011.
  9. Very comfortable with many nice touches by the owners. June 2011.

  14. The owner left us cakes and milk and the cottage was one of the best we have stayed in. Sept 2010.
  15. Not only was the cottage well appointed and furnished to a high standard but we wanted for nothing and the small, but important, finishing touches, such as flowers and bowl of fruit, made this the best self-catering cottage that have experienced over many years. Nov 2010.
  16. Ideal but only for 3 absolute max. Good spot to take the dog as walks close by. Nov 2010.
  17. A real gem, fantastic location and excellent cottage. Aug 2010.
