  1. The cottage overall was comfortable, welcoming and warm. Not too far from the local pub which served good food. Lovely walking area and picturesque villages like Lavenham a short trip away or if you fancy a larger town to shop Bury St. Edmunds and Ipswich not too far either. Could have done with another week!   5. The cottage has been refurbished to a very high standard and is located in a lovely rural setting. The gardens are ideal for alfresco dining (weather permitting) for food a six mile journey to Onehouse and the Shepherd & Dog is well worth the drive, excellent food and very friendly staff.   6. Excellent, clean and with modern equipment throughout. A very quiet place away from noise and other disturbance. We enjoyed the wildlife in the garden and meadow. There is an airfield nearby but apart from the odd helicopter it was not a problem at all. August 2011.
  7. Magnolia Cottage had been refurbished to a very high standard. A lot of original features remained. The kitchen was modern and beautifully appointed. The bathroom clean, bright and modern. The towels and bedlinen were of high quality. I would not hesitate to go back because it was so clean. The garden and meadow were a decent size as well. We ate outside most evenings as the weather was perfect. June 2011.
  8. Magnolia Cottage is a beautiful property - a proper little bolt-hole in a lovely rural part of Suffolk. It’s in a great location for the coast, countryside and National Trust properties across the region. It’s well appointed, relaxed and the perfect size for 2 or 4. April 2011.

  11. It is an old property which has been refurbished to a high standard, respecting and retaining its original features. Very clean and well equipped. There is a good central heating system, but we also enjoyed the wood burning fire. It feels like a real home, not like a ’holiday let’. Oct 2010.

If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
