  3. Gorgeous property with fantastic views. Property very well equiped and clean and comfortable - loads of space. Loved the location, very peaceful. Lots of places to visit in Skye, particularly enjoyed the fairy glen with our little boy and the Cuillin area too. Went to a different beach every day, although not sandy great for pebble throwing and rock pooling. People in Skye were very friendly and local post office/shop and cafe (great cake and shortbread) in Glendale were great. Aug 2012.
  4. Fantastic modern house in a superb location. Kitchen was a delight to cook in and there is even a bread maker. Plenty of fantastic restaurants to eat in - Stein Inn - very good pub food - loch bay in Stein a superb fish restaurant but you do need to book and it was closed on Sundays and Mondays and the old school restaurant in Dunvagan was also has very good food. We also had a very good lunch in the red roof cafe in nearby Glendale. We climbed both Macleods tables in a day - with fantastic views - exhilarating ! As was Skye cliff and waternish point - you feel like your at the end of the world and alone - fantastic. We aslo visited nearby coral beach, neist lighthouse and the fairy pools which are busier. The only disappointment was the lack of local shops - excellent bakery and cake shop but they did not open until 10. A very good fruit and veg shop all nearby. But no grocery shop selling local meat, produce or fish. July 2012.
  5. Mag Findargat is a beautiful holiday home, equipped with everything you could need and more. Luxury, comfortable accommodation in a wonderful situation. Great weather was a bonus and we saw Skye at its best. Can’t wait to book another break next year! June 2012.
  6. Had a glorious week at Mag Findargat. Lovely modern property with everything you could possibly want. Kitchen extremely well equipped. Spacious house with kitchen & bedrooms downstairs and lounge and study upstairs. Wood burning stove in lounge. Bay window upstairs with beautiful view of Loch Dunvegan. Plenty maps of Skye in the house as well as a pair of binoculars to view the loch. April 2012.
