Situated in a peaceful location adjacent to farmland, 1.5 miles from the village, with lovely views of the rolling landscape of Offa’s Dyke country. This detached character holiday house is furnished in traditional style and has great character, and is located on the Radnor Ring Cycle Route. There is an enclosed dog paddock in the garden. Great for walking, touring and cycling, with the ’black and white’ villages of Herefordshire and Elan Valley nearby. There are many festivals held over the year, including Brecon Jazz Festival, Winter Festival of Food, Hay-on-Wye Festival of Literature. Plenty of walks with Offa’s Dyke Path very close by, or walk over Hergest Ridge to Kington with its wildlife and local attractions. Shop, pub and restaurant 1.5 miles.

  11. The cottage was in a perfect and very tranquil settings, just what anyone would want from somewhere to simply get away from it all and relax. If you are looking for nightlife and excitement, this place is not for you. However if you want to go away stressed and return totally chilled out then book this cottage now. Nov 2007.
  12. It would be helpful to know that the electricity and the oil have to be paid for. There was not a problem but we did not expect that there were two heating bills to pay. It was very enjoyable. April 2007.

If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
