In in a peaceful location within the Dartmoor National Park, this attractive, Grade II listed, miller’s cottage adjoins the owners’ converted watermill but offers completely self-contained holiday accommodation at ground floor level. Tastefully decorated, it shares a large garden and patio beside the babbling Colley brook. Surrounded by open countryside, on the doorstep are splendid walks and cycle routes. Lydford Gorge (NT), Cotehele House (NT), The Garden House and many other attractions are close at hand. The ancient market town of Tavistock (3 miles) offers sport activities, theatre and restaurants. In this area of World Heritage status, both the north and south coast beaches are within easy reach. Just 5 minutes’ walk to 15th-century inn serving food. Shops 3 miles.

There was nothing to dislike about the property. It was in a beautiful location with walks & a good local inn on the doorstep both of which we made good use of! Our dog appreciated this also. He particularly enjoyed the freedom of a dog friendly village with lots of acquaintances to bark with! Oct 2010.
