Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Lovely cosy cottage, with all facilities and a lovely welcome of tea, coffee, sugar, milk & biscuits!! The cottage was a good location for us to explore Cornwall and we went as far as St. Ives and Looe. We had a great week with the weather, warm and sunny days and the rain only came at night when we were tucked up in the warm and cosy cottage. Big enough for 2 adults and a child and would reccommend it to all. Oct 2012.
  2. Good cottage quite small with lovely wood burner, suitable for 2/3 people and a great base for seeing Bude and then rest of Cornwall. The 2nd set of stairs are pretty tricky to get up, but a good sized double and comfortable bed at teh top floor of the cottage. The smaller single bedroom is also a walk through for the next set of steps, so suitable for a child maybe! Lovely big bathroom and fancy bath which was good. No garden but a front table space outside the property for teas and coffee’s outside. Overall was happy and thought the cottage was a bargain, but would recommend for using as a base to see Cornwall and getting out as space is limited in the cottage. The village of Stratton was small and extremely lovely and it had a great pub called the Tree Inn which did some amazing food. Bude is wonderful to visit also. April 2012.
  3. A lovely quaint property in a fabulous location - easy access to Bude, Boscastle, Tintagel and Launceston. Good local pubs and fish & chip take-away and a nearby Morrisons - all a bonus when you want to just chill out. The steep stair case to the top floor may be unsuitable for elderly clients as well as young children. You can hear people from the adjoining cottage going up and down the stairs too. Even with water maintenance taking place in the village and one day of tremendous rainfall we had a enjoyable stay. Oct 2011.
  4. A lovely homely cottage. Very clean and lots of little touches (i.e coffee, tea and biscuits) that could get forgotten. Lovely bedrooms. Very clean throughout. Close to pubs and chip shop but quiet still. Sept 2011.
  5. Although the property was clean we felt that it could do with a bit of a facelift maybe a new sofa, cooker in the kitchen. Also the shower needed a bit of renovation while only a small thing they needed a new toilet brush in the bathroom. The cottage was very central for days out Hartland Quay, Clovelly worth a visit also Westward Ho and Widemouth Bay all in all a very enjoyable holiday. Sept 2011.
  6. The place was very nice, very cosy and clean and tidy. June 2011.
  7. Nice cosy cottage equipped with everything needed. Stairs v steep as per cottage description. 2 pubs and shop very close and Morrisons a few minutes down the road towards Bude. Convenient location for main road up or down coast to visit attractions and beaches. Only shortcoming is lack of any outdoor area other than table and chairs at front. May 2011.
  8. A little home from home, fantastic! May 2011.
  9. A lovely cosy cottage! Perfect for a winter break - the jacuzzi bath was especially nice after an afternoon walking on the beach. Housekeeper was very helpful and easy to contact. We enjoyed a super meal at the Tree Inn around the corner. Feb 2011.
  10. Well planned kitchen. Property was warm and cosy. Dec 2010.
  11. It was very cosy for a winter break. Nov 2010.
  12. The house was wonderful, exactly how the website had described it. We had a lovely hassle-free holiday. The house was clean and tidy and ever so comfortable. There was a lovely fish and chip shop just up the road which was perfect after a hard day relaxing on the beach. Crooklets beach was really close, and absolutley lovely to visit. July 2010.
  13. Very cosy. Warm and welcoming. March 2010.
  14. The cottage was lovely and cosy and perfect for a week away relaxing. The jacuzzi bath was brilliant especially after the lovely walks around the local area. Feb 2010.
  15. Very pretty and cosy. Jacuzzi a lovely feature, especially after November walks on the beach! Tea, milk and biscuits a nice touch after a long drive. Perfect location for what we wanted. Would definitely recommend. Nov 2009.
  16. Property is in a great location to act as a base for visiting other parts of Cornwall. Oct 2009.
  17. The standard of decor & fixtures & fittings especially the jacuzzi bath. Sept 2009.
  18. Good location for great days out, great local beaches. Good food within walking distance. June 2009.
  19. The cottage is cosy and was perfect for a relaxing break. Located close to all the beautiful ports and villages, the village provides a pretty, welcoming base for exploring the area. We felt like we lived there and didn’t want to leave! Dec 2008.
  20. The holiday was simply wonderful. The cottage was perfect and I couldn’t fault it at all. The location was superb as it was a great central point for exploring and the local pub, The Tree Inn, was very welcoming with great food. When booking a cottage break again I would definately book with your company and have already recommended you to family and friends! Sept 2008.
