  1. This cottage is a hidden gem and we’re so glad we found it. It is quite remote (2 miles from the nearest village along a single track road), but is ideal if you’re looking for peace and quiet with stunning views. It’s all on one level (therefore ideal for young children and those with infirmities) and very well equipped, with everything you could wish for, and the underfloor heating makes it very cosy and warm. The only thing we missed was a woodburning stove, but other than that it was excellent and we can’t recommend it highly enough. And the homemade cupcakes waiting for us on our arrival were to die for! May 2012.
  2. A fabulous cottage, very welcoming owner and lovely and comfortable. A little remote but if you want to escape the world a real gem. April 2012.
  3. Very remote, didn’t realise that it was just a single track lane to nearest road and the hotel in the village had closed down. March 2012.
  4. The cottage is excellent, with a friendly welcome especially the cupcakes, milk, eggs, tea & coffee awaiting our arrival. Our daughter loved the farm’s animals; chickens & peacocks roaming around outside, sheep sleeping under the deck and two very friendly dogs. We loved the quiet location and beautiful surroundings, a really tranquil haven. The cottage was very clean and well equipped, furnished and maintained to a very high standard. We would highly recommend the cottage and hope to return again. Aug 2011.
  5. This is our second visit to this property and we are still impressed by its excellent fixtures, fittings and location. Although a little remote for some, it is a wonderful place to get away and relax. Wildlife, birds and farm animals excellent for our 21 month old daughter to gawp at! Hopefully we will visit again. March 2011.
  6. The cottage was very quaint, immaculately clean, in the middle of the countryside, well away from the road and had all you needed for a relaxing holiday. The scenery was amazing. A perfect getaway! Oct 2010.
  7. Spotlessly clean with an extremely well recieved welcome pack, (cakes, milk coffee and tea). Aug 2010.
  8. Lovely cottage and really nice modern fittings. The view from the balcony is stunning. July 2010.
  9. Beautiful, every small detail was thought of from information about the area including doctors and attractions to a cork screw!!! The animals on the farm were fantastic, especially the chickens and cat which our 10 month old daughter loved. Eggs, tea and fairy cakes were very welcome on arrival and were yum! May 2010.
  10. Loved everything. May 2010.
  11. The cottage was so well equipped, particularly the kitchen, which made our stay so enjoyable. It was obvious that so much thought had gone into furnishing and equipping the cottage. It was a brilliant, peaceful, away-from-it-all location. April 2010.
  12. Loved it! March 2010.
  13. Accommodation is in a beautiful and quiet location, and was exactly as the website described. Excellent standard of furnishings and cleanliness inside, and the wildlife, birds and livestock on the adjoining land made it even more enjoyable and interesting for our 10 month old daughter. March 2010.
  14. Nice size and such lovely condition, every possible kitchen gadget that you could want. Sept 2009.
  15. The kitchen had every imaginable utensil and the bathroom was superb. March 2009.

  17. The cottage was stunning, from the underfloor heating to the fairy cakes on arrival and the beautiful furnishings, we thoroughly loved it. It completely exceeded our expectations. March 2009.
  18. The cottage was fantastic, it was very clean and very comfortable, the setting was lovely. The owners had quite a few bird feeders and there was a bird book in the cottage so my children would get up every morning and go through the book to see what birds they were watching, they really enjoyed this. You could not fault the cottage it was perfect, the owners even left cakes and stuff for tea and coffee. Oct 2008.
  19. Beautifully appointed cottage, perfect for small family, with friendly owner and in wonderfully peaceful location. Aug 2008.
