1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

Property Description

Nestling amid rolling countryside, with stunning views from the decking area, Longbarn Cottages (Refs OWG and OWH) are set within three acres on a small holding adjacent to the owners’ home. Adjoining one another, they have been stylishly converted and tastefully decorated to offer most comfortable accommodation to enjoy the delights of the area. There are many beautiful walks, with Llyn Brianne Reservoir and the Black Mountains close by. Snuggled in Red Kite country, it is ideal for bird-watching. Fishing, horse riding and mountain biking are available in the area. Other attractions include The Dolaucothi Goldmines in the village, The National Botanical Gardens, and romantic Aberglasney Gardens. The beautiful beaches along the Cardigan coastline can be reached within an hour. The market towns of Llandovery and Brecon and the quaint town of Llandeilo, with its boutiques, art galleries, tea rooms and restaurants are within a reasonable drive. Shops 8 miles, pub 4 miles.

  1. A superb property presented with every convenience to hand. Sitting on the balcony and looking down the valley was a highlight. As was hearing total silence, other than the dawn chorus and the calling of the peacocks and chickens. This property would suit a couple looking to escape a noisy world for a week end. Do be prepared to be well off the beaten track though as the cottage is really in the wilds of Wales and a good distance from shops and places of interest.You need a good sat nav! May 2012.
  2. This property is remote! A couple of miles from anywhere and so it you want to walk to the pub or restaurant forget it! However, the location is beautiful and it is a great cottage with fantastic views. April 2012.

  16. Everything was perfect. The decor was beautiful, as were the furnishings., and everything was spotless. The kitchen was very well equipped. We were greeted with what I assume were home-made cakes, plus a tea tray made up with fresh milk. The owners were non-invasive, but very helpful and friendly.
