Property Description

Set by the side of the Caledonian Canal and just a few miles from Fort William, the ‘Outdoor Capital of the UK’, these beautifully presented apartments are perfectly placed for exploring this lovely area. Each apartment has its own separate entrance within a small complex of seven. Thoughtfully designed, the apartments have been furnished to a very high standard and offer wonderful accommodation in an exciting area. Fort William makes an excellent holiday base all year round. The town itself provides ample facilities and there is easy access to the magnificent countryside, offering many opportunities for the large number of outdoor pursuits such as mountain biking on the World Championship Course, climbing, sailing, or just relaxing and taking in the scenic beauty of this area. There is an 18-hole golf course, horse riding, go-karting, loch, river and sea fishing, as well as boat trips to see the seals. A trip can be taken on the steam train (seasonal) which was featured in the Harry Potter films. There are plenty of good places in which to eat, and lots of pubs to have a drink in and enjoy unique Highland hospitality. Shops 1 mile, pubs 50 yards.

  2. Great self-service apartment, one of a number in this location. Close to town, well heated and supplied with all the mod cons. The kitchen has everything you’ll need. We had a great reception, really helpful and thoughtful. They had really good information for the traveller and we were provided great suggestions as well as ensuring we were aware of everything. Next to a good restaurant/pub, so if you choose not to cook, no problems. Would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking to stay in, or around Fort William. Oct 2011.
  3. Central location for accessing highlands. If sleeping in front bedroom (double bed) it can get alittle noisy in the morning as road quite close to the apartment and a number of deliveries to hotel next door by large vans, lorries. Oct 2011.
  4. The property is only a few minutes drive from the centre of Fort William. The high standard of cleanliness and the fixtures of the apartment was superb. Little touches such as milk, tea coffee and biscuits awaiting our arrival were greatly appreciated after our long drive. The scenery at the rear is breath-taking and watching the boats moving through Neptune’s Staircase Lock was very interesting. Sept 2011.
  5. The accomodation is first class and the owner Francis can’t do enough to make your stay perfect. The location is perfect for getting to all places including Skye and Mull and its next door to the Moorings hotel that do great food igf you don’t want to cook although you have everything in the apartment to be able to do so.
