1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

The living room and large kitchen/dining room look out across the bay. A second living room upstairs is built in the form of an ’observatory’, complete with balcony from which to spot the wide variety of bird and sea-life. Miles of shoreline walks are accessed directly from the property. The unspoilt fishing village of Helmsdale has a harbour and restaurants and shops. The area is renowned for its unspoilt beaches, wild and rugged coastline and traditional villages. Fossils are regularly found along this particular stretch of coast. Travel north to visit the Castle of Mey, John O’ Groats and the Orkney Isles. Golf, fishing, cycling, hill-walking, surfing and pony trekking all available locally. Try panning for gold in the Helmsdale river and visit the fairytale castle of Dunrobin. Shops, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

  2. Excellent property, within walking distance of a few places to eat and drink, which are all fine, but secluded and excellent for the dog as stone beach with walk along the coast right outside. We struck out to several golf courses, John O Groats and a couple of Mountain Bike trails down at Golspie - all round recommended and very well kitted out, pity we couldn’t enjoy the terrace with the weather we had. Shuffleboard court provided endless fun. April 2012.

  4. Comfortable spacious property. Great tranquil location and beautiful dawn to wake up to with views from the master bedroom in particular. Loved the games room with the shuffleboard. Loved being able to spot seals and seal pups as well as the oil rigs and wind turbines out at sea through the telescope and on one clear night Jupiter could be spotted near the moon. The dog loved the venue too! Sept 2011.
  5. The property location was perfect. The house itself was clean and beautifully proportioned. We all had ample room. The children loved the 45ft Shuffle board alley. We saw dolphins and seals passing by and I did not want to come home- all in all a perfect holiday. Thank you. Aug 2011.
  6. Had a fantastic holiday 11/6/11-18/06/11. The house fulfilled all expectations. Great house and great location! A definite bonus is that there are 2 wings for the bedrooms, ensuring privacy and a bit of quiet time away from the main area.We took full advantage of the shuffleboard and drum kit! Would go again but for the long journey (9 hours). I would definitely recommend this house! I would advise families to take all supplies(as luckily we did) as nearest supermarket (Tesco) is over 30 miles away. The one local shop is very expensive & limited as you can imagine in a small fishing village). Breathtaking surroundings. June 2011.
  7. A fabulous property for a family gathering or groups of friends. Plenty of space to spread out and having 3 bathrooms is excellent. All mod cons. Kitchen is a bit echoey but so what! The views are wonderful. April 2011.

  11. Nov: Warm,very spacious, everything in new-looking cond’, beautifully clean and tidy with all you could need from kitchen to entertainment. Views and and early morning beach walks were rewarded with sight of wonderful wildlife. You just couldn’t find a better place in November. It’s in a very sheltered spot so wrap up when venturing away from your holiday home. Wonderful. Oct 2010.
