Situated in South Somerset, 8 miles from Glastonbury, these two attractive, detached, converted barns, set in 20 acres of the owner’s grounds, provide holiday accommodation that is ideally placed to explore this delightful county. The main barn (ERW), with character oak features and flagstone floor in the hallway, is excellent accommodation for 6, or the smaller, yet spacious barn for 2 (EWD), with gallieried bedroom, is also equipped to a high standard. Little Bushes and Copse Cottage can be booked on their own or together. Enjoy the Georgian Heritage city of Bath, explore Glastonbury Tor, Stourhead House and Gardens, the famous Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole, and the World Heritage Jurassic Coast with its scenic coastal walks, fishing, boating and fossil hunting. Nearby are Yeovilton Fleet Air Army Museum, Haynes Motor Museum and many historic houses, including Montacute or Tintinhull. Shop 1 mile, pub ½ mile.

  1. The owners were very good hosts and the cake and flowers that welcomed us to the accommodation were greatly appreciated (and enjoyed). The only problem we had was with the plumbing but this did not detract from the holiday. Of the local pubs we would recommend the Fox & Hounds for an informal meal. We did not find anywhere for a formal meal that we would recommend. Lots to see and do locally. The Fleet Air Arm museum is well worth a visit if you like that sort of thing. Sept 2012.

Little Bushes is in a quiet & peaceful countryside location,with the Dorset/Devon & North Somerset coastlines within 11/2hours drive.The accommodation is superb with luxurious sleeping quarters and large comfortable open plan lounge/kitchen and a log burner which is nothing short of spectacular. In all it was all one could wish for, for a completely relaxing holiday. Sept 2008.

  19. Wonderful accommodation, beautiful barn conversion. Great welcome from a lovely family. Perfect spot for visiting many local attractions - Bath, Fleet Air Arm Museum, Cheddar Gorge, Longleat etc, with a great pub nearby. Totally relaxing. Oct 2008.
  20. The property surpassed our expectations, and we could hardly bear to go out anywhere! Owners brilliant, including the extensive menu of quality food on offer which we sampled. The carrot cake especially is a prize winner! We will be going again without a doubt. Dec 2008.
