Property Description

A delightfully sunny conservatory-style dining room is the focal point of this sweet garden room apartment, which is ideally situated between the lakeside towns of Windermere and Bowness. Its location is indeed the perfect base from which to tour or explore the many visitor attractions that South Lakeland has to offer. Both the lake and the railway station are approximately ½ mile away, and this is on an excellent bus route. Cafés and restaurants within easy walking distance. Shops and pubs within 500 yards.

All on lower ground floor: Living room/kitchen. Dining/garden room. 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Freeview TV. DVD and small library. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washer/dryer. Fridge/freezer. Enclosed courtyard with patio and furniture. Parking (1 car). No smoking. Friday to Friday.

  5. The property overall was clean, nicely decorated, well equipped, and pretty much as described. The only real criticism is the bathroom which could benefit from TLC, eg removing the black marks around the bath sealant and the tiles etc. June 2011.

  10. An ideal base, close to anything you need: shops, pubs, tourist information centre. Short walk to Windermere and Bowness centre. Good location to see other parts of Lake District as well. Accommodation met all our requirements, nice little cosy cottage. Nov 2010.
  11. Very clean. New kitchen utensils, frying pans, saucepans etc which is a rarity on self catering holidays. The cottage was better than the photos depicted but to be fair, I’m not sure if an external photo could be different due to the location. Central to two major towns. Parking was easy. Aug 2010.
  12. We found Lintel Dell ideally situated for getting around the area. With bus stops just across the road and around the corner we were able to take advantage of the excellent bus service. There are superb walks, and located midway between Windermere and Bowness, we could not have wished for more. Lintel Dell was all we could have hoped for -- and more! April 2010.

  20. A lovely place for a holiday. The accommodation is very comfortable, clean and tasteful. All the rooms were of a high standard. The house has everything you need, all you need to do, is take yourself, toiletries and food. The accommodation is in a perfect place to explore the Lake District, with lots to do in the surrounding areas. Feb 2009.
