Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. We had a wonderful time in a beautiful and well maintained property. Our hosts were very friendly and gave us a great welcome. We really enjoyed our stay. June 2012.
  2. Beautiful cottage, situated in a lovely village, excellent village shop and butchers, owners next door friendly and helpful, yet unobtrusive. Very well appointed accommodation with everything we could think of needing and more. June 2012.
  3. We all had an excellent holiday, the facilities were great. We had a small problem with the toilet during our visit and the landlord was quick to respond and quickly resolved it. Its a beautiful cottage with amazing views and great location for both the coast and walks in the moors. Jan 2012.
  4. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Limber View. The cottage and gardens are beautiful and there was so much attention to detail, we could not have wished for anything more. We were left a delicious chocolate cake by the owners, who introduced themselves to show us around the cottage and answer any questions we may have had, and then left us to our own privacy. The location of the cottage for us was great, very quiet and lovely scenery. We had a meal in the village pub one night, which was delicious, and there are some lovely pubs in the neighbouring villages. Fantastic - would not hesitate to stay there again. nov 2011.
  5. We loved the cottage, Glaisdale and the North York Moors. A superb holiday all round. The owners were lovely. Oct 2011.
  6. This was our fourth visit and already planning when we can return next year. Sept 2011.
  7. Fantastic location, real bonus to see steam trains running through the valley at the bottom of the field. Accomodation well appointed, very spacious, owners helpful but not intrusive, would thoroughly recommend. May 2011.
  8. The property was pretty much as described and we soon felt at home. It would have been good to know that the heating was controlled by the thermostat but we soon fathomed that out. There was hardly anything that we needed apart from the obvious things such as food and drink, and the owners were handy in case of any questions we had. Oct 2010.
  9. Warm and welcoming, stunning setting. Sept 2010.
  10. The accommodation was absolutely brilliant - your brochure truly did not do it justice! The bedrooms were all incredibly spacious, all facilities were of a very high standard and the setting was just breathtaking. A superb garden, but for privacy freaks - the public footpath through the garden could have been off-putting, and wasn’t mentioned in your information. Aug 2010.
  11. Superb location although a little too far out of the village to walk to & from shop/pub. Beautiful large garden with good seating areas. Easy vehicle access & more than adequate parking. Plenty of space in all rooms, good & varied entertainment unit, equipment (kitchen/dining) sufficient to cope with a lot more people. July 2010.
  12. A beautiful property, the brochure photographs did not do it justice. Very comfortable accommodation. July 2010.
  13. Very pretty garden with lovely views. Very well equipped and very clean. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The chocolate cake was delicious. May 2010.
  14. A lovely property, excellent views. May 2010.
  15. A lovely spacious house with a pretty garden. Oct 2009.
  16. Comfortable, warm and clean in lovely surroundings. Oct 2009.
  17. The owners had obviously thought about people living and enjoying the property rather than it just being a source of income. Sept 2009.
  18. A wonderful property for all the members of our family from age 1 to 77 and our dogs too! June 2009.
  19. Just the most beautiful location, showing the countryside off at its finest. The cottage was superbly equipped and comfortable, the accommodation being of the highest standard and beyond our expectations - one of the nicest places we have ever stayed and we would not hesitate to recommend the place and the area to everyone - blissful! March 2009.
  20. Quiet location - only 4 miles from North Yorks Moors railway - close to Whitby - long distance public footpath, ’Esk Valley Walk’ from Castleton to Whitby passes through grounds of property!! Superb peaceful gardens surrounding property. The situation - quiet on Northern edge of N Yorks Moors with superb views and beautiful garden. Quality barn conversion and furnishings. July 2009.
