Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. The property and location was excellent, we would definitely go again. The cost to eat out was very expensive but the local butcher on the canal, offered really good and fresh food (hot rolls as well as uncooked meat) - would recommend them. Excellent holiday overall, would highly recommend the property and location. July 2012.
  2. Lovely cottage, fantastic location, neighbour very friendly. Tip; beware of using toaster, smoke alarms work very well!! June 2012.
  3. We spent a wonderful time in that friendly house - like a home. Marvellous place to be. The weather was very sunny during all our stay. Nothing else to say... except that I would love to come back again. May 2012.
  4. A fabulously located property with stunning views at the end of a quiet cul-de sac and all within an easy walk to the facilities in the village. The property was well equipped for guests of all ages. April 2012.
  5. Overall happy, beautiful location. Lounge was not particularly comfortable. Bottle of wine on arrival was nice touch, but we would have preferred toilet paper! Sept 2011.
  6. Lilybank Cottage situated at the end of a cul de sac with no through traffic, was ideally situated for access to the Caledonian Canal and Loch Ness. The garden was superb for our grandchildren aged 8 and 4 years to play in, with its own tree platform (handy for reading books) and an area for a bonfire for toasting marshmallows! Absolutely superb holiday and hope to return again. Perfect! July 2011.
  7. All 7 of us - ranging in age from 2 to 52 - had a wonderful holiday. Couldn’t fault the property in any way. Very comfortable and plenty room for us all. Visited several beautiful places - must come back to do the rest. June 2011.
  8. Words are not enough, my advice just visit it and you will see, peace, the locals are great, the countryside is to die. For just look and see try the local food. The next door neighbour he is a talent nice family. May 2011.
  9. Fantastic location offering access to the Highlands, Fort Augustus is a lovely village with just enough nice pubs and restaurants in. We will be back in the future. April 2011.
  10. Very spacious cottage with many extra features. Jan 2011.
  11. Everything was to our liking. Tumbler drier was not working. This was the only problem. House contents were exceptional. Even were down to waterproof coats, wellingtons fishing rods to name a few. Great. Sept 2010.
