Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Peaceful and quiet but 10 mins drive from nearest town. Excellent location for exploring Normandy and even further afield. Spacious accommodation well suited for large family group of mixed ages including a ground floor bedroom for ’grandma’. Large garden and games room enjoyed by the children. Friendly, helpful owner on hand next door if needed. April 2011.
  2. Property was very spacious and easily accommodated our family of eleven, with an age span of 3 - 75yrs. The most popular room being the games room. Aug 2010.
  3. The Location was centrally located between Caen and Cherbourg and within easy reach of 2 towns Caratan and Ingsey ser mer with supermarkets and restaraunts also easy reach of the Normandy beaches The cottage is lovely clean with plenty of room and we shall definitely be staying here again very soon. Aug 2010.
  4. A large garden excellent games facilities and plenty of room and pleasant host. Aug 2010.
  5. Nice and roomy accommodation, lovely and quiet and peaceful surroundings. Lots of chairs and tables both inside and outside property. May 2010.
  6. Large lounge/dining area, well equipped kitchen, five reasonable sized bedrooms. Quiet rural area. Friendly local bar/shop, easy access to main Carentan/Isigny sur Mer road. Both towns had good choice of bars, restaurants and supermarkets. May 2010.
  7. One of the best holidays ever! Dec 2009.
  8. The owner was really friendly and welcoming - during our time there she provide information on the district and places to visit. Sept 2009.
  9. Light and airy, kitchen not as well equipped as we had expected, but functional. Games room good, as weather was not. Tables and chairs ample and generous, bathrooms good, friendly accommodating owner next door. Did not fancy using the shared bbq though as it was on their patio. Would definitely consider going back, plenty of room to accommodate more than one party (we had 4 teenagers and two grandparents and all had space to do their own thing) despite the unusual cooking arrangements and no dishwasher all went well and catering was not a problem. Owner was brilliant, on call but not intrusive. Beautiful horses and foals just up the road, and a beautiful chateau within walking distance. Boule pitch on site and a games room with table tennis and table football for the wet days. Bathrooms with good showers and ample loos!! July 2009.
  10. Great for access to all the Normandy War Beaches. Tranquil and quiet so you sleep like a log. March 2009.
  11. Lovely owner who made us very welcome and gave lots of information. We went as 3 families and there was plenty of room. Super games room with table tennis and table football, loads of board games. Very quiet village, with great walks around. Dec 2008.
