On the edge of the town of Arques, famous for its glass and crystal making, and only 10km from the centre of the historic town of St. Omer with its canals, squares and 18-hole golf course. Discover the WW2 museum and underground bunker at La Coupole, an amazing day out for the whole family. The owner is a master of wines and can provide an introductory wine appreciation course (charged separately). F62125 is an eco-friendly property using solar heating and has been adapted with wheelchair users in mind.

  1. Location of the property was excellent for seeing the area and shops/supermarkets in easy reach by car. There was a softplay (Clownland) very close by for the children (only open wed, sat & sun in term time though), which was excellent. Oct 2011.
  2. Close to rural areas. Pool facilities were good. Excellent service received when a couple of minor issues were reported. May 2011.

  4. Nice garden, leading directly off the property (which not all the properties there have). Great if you’ve got children who want to be outside. Nice bathrooms, one downstairs and one upstairs - as with the bedrooms - so good if you have people in your party who would rather not use stairs. July 2010.

  6. We were lucky and had the property with the attached private garden. The kids loved the pool! The DIY needed completing in places. Aug 2009.
  7. Property location was really good and provided a good base for traveling to the area we wanted to visit. Garden area was spacious and private. As we were two couples it suited us very well as with a double bedroom on the ground floor and also one upstairs this gave a good degree of privacy. The only downside was that their was only a hand held shower over the bath in the downstairs bathroom. Aug 2009.
  8. It was nice to have a gite near the town, it gave us a true flavour of French life. April 2008.
  9. Very nice house, very good pool, lots to see in the area, very nice people and helpful, lots of big hypermarkets near, and only about 40 minutes from the port. We would be happy to holiday at the same place again. Dec 2008.

  11. Excellent location for touring Nord and Pas de Calais. Accomodation had everything that you needed and the pool was fantastic. The owners were very helpful and friendly. Would consider going back at a warmer time of year. Feb 2007.
