1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

Property Description

Nestling at the foot of the cliffs in the picturesque village of Lauris, this semi-detached holiday home has a swimming pool set into the cliffside - using water sourced from its own private spring dating from Gallo-Roman times (seen through the partially glazed bedroom floor). Lourmarin (3km) has gourmet restaurants and a beautiful château where art exhibitions are held. La Roque d’Antheron (5km) hosts a piano festival (July), and for sports enthusiasts, there is an 18-hole golf course at Pont Royal (9km), cycling and canoeing. Enjoy strolling through Aix-en-Provence, with its rich architecture and celebrated Cour Mirabeau (with terrace cafés and restaurants). Les Alpilles Mountains await discovery, as well as Les Baux-de-Provence with its olive groves lost to view descending towards St-Rémy-de-Provence. Further north is the Luberon Regional Park with its wild thyme and lavender, and many villages such as Gordes, Bonnieux, Ménerbes and Roussillon perched on hilltops of red and ochre.

  1. A unique property but be aware of the four levels - good views but a good few steps! Property was spotlessly clean. Some noise from water and neighbours heard from the single bedroom. A pleasant welcome and a lovely village from which to explore the Luberon and further afield. Sept 2012.
  2. The pictures on the website do not do this property justice. The accommodation is quirky and charming, with lots of character. There is total privacy in and around the property and the setting is idyllic. Lauris itself has 4 restaurants that vary in terms of price and quality - Lou Pebre D’aÏ and L’Argelas being the better, and both offering a delicious menu and value for money. July 2012.
  3. The property was well situated. In a very nice and interesting village with all shops and a good restaurant within walking distance. IT was on the main road through the village so there was traffic noise but nothing that was unacceptable. Very good parking within grounds. Have said the photos give good representation of property but if anything they do no do it justice. There is a terrace above the swimming pool that you have sole use of which has full sun but there is a very nice olive tree to give shade.June 2012.

  6. Les Jardins de Magali has plenty of character, is spacious and well-equipped. The terrace/balcony which overlooks the road is an excellent vantage point as well as ideal for breakfast or dinner. The owner was an engaging and welcoming host and we felt very at ease throughout the week. Lauris is better as a jumping-off point than a destination but there is so much to enjoy in the area.   7. A gite with a fascinating history which is related with real enthusiasm by the owner. As we wanted to spend some time in Aix the location was perfect. Lauris itself also has a lot to offer. The weather for the week that we were there was stunning. When we got back to England it was as if someone had switched the lights out. June 2012.
  8. The property was far better than we expected. The balcony was great to sit at for breakfast and all evening, watching the swallows.It was unusual, and mostly quiet, but some traffic noise when people came home from work, that did not bother us. The village of Lauris was just right, traditional with great food shops and not touristy, with the gorgeous Lourmarin nearby and all Vaucluse within easy reach. May 2012.
