Within easy reach is the fishing lake of St André, and further afield are the recreational lakes of Aiguebelette (or one at Aix-les-Bains) to enjoy watersports in summer. The bustling town of Chambéry offers a large choice of restaurants and shops in its historical town centre. The spa town of Aix-les-Bains along the beautiful lake is also worth a visit.

  1. This was a wonderful cottage - fantastic location with everything you could want to enjoy a holiday. The owner was very helpful and the myriad of walks through the local vineyards were beautiful. There are some great patisseries close by and good restaurants, with easy access to chambery and grenoble. Heartily recommended. July 2012.
