Beautiful Lake Annecy itself is within cycling distance, with water sports, sailing, beaches, waterside restaurants, and impressive scenery – here mountains tumble down to the clear lake waters. Well worth adding to any itinerary is a visit to Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, with its train journeys onto the Ice Sea. Alternatively, go over the border into Switzerland, for a day shopping in Geneva or relaxing by Lake Léman.

  1. Lovely quiet spot very near to the main Annecy to Faverage bicycle route - wonderful location for a family holiday. A car is required due to it’s slightly remote location. July 2012.
  2. A lovely property, situated half an hours drive from Annecy. It was very hot when we stayed in August and the only thing that would have been helpful would have been air conditioning, or some fans as some days it was unbearably hot. Aug 2011.
