Property Description

Situated on the outskirts of the charming village of Cheval Blanc, on the southern side of Lubéron Massif, you will find this Provençal style house and its own private lake, with the possibility of fishing available. The exquisite view of the mountains gives this renovated stone house the perfect backdrop, with its large, well-kept garden and floodlit swimming pool with Roman steps. The terrace offers you a sheltered area where you can dine al fresco, with BBQ facilities on hand, or games like table tennis and boules. The garden and terrace area, which runs all around the house, can be accessed from the main rooms on the ground floor of the house via French doors. Wooden beams are featured in the spacious and comfortable living and dining areas, as well as in the well-equipped kitchen. There are plenty of opportunities to venture into the surrounding area, from Cavaillon or Aix-en-Provence, with its museums, to Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, famous for its antique shops, or Avignon.

  1. A lovely house conveniently situated for exploring the Luberon region, (Avignon, hilltop villages, vineyards etc.) - plenty to do to occupy a fortnight. Great pool and outside dining area, though inside is rather dated and beds uncomfortable. June 2012.
  2. This is a big house with lots of space. the beds and sofas were comfortable and there was lots of space for dining - inside and out. The pool and barbecue were excellent and we all enjoyed the different aspects of the garden. However the showers and bathrooms need updating and the house was a bit dusty. The owners were excellent. If we needed anything or if something needed fixing they did it straight away. They were lovely and the house has so much character - we really liked it! July 2011.

  5. The owners were extremely welcoming and made themselves available in the event of need, but otherwise respected our privacy. The property’s lake provided our boys with many hours of enjoyment fishing for carp. June 2009.
  6. Lovely secluded Villa. Great holiday. Kids had a great time playing in the pool. We could easily keep an eye on them from the Veranda, without having to be in the pool with them all the time. July 2009.

Customers of cottages4you, aged 21 or over, who find a Lucky Ted in their holiday cottage between 25th March and 31st July , can enter the Competition by submitting a photo of Lucky Ted on his UK holiday. Photos can be submitted by the methods detailed at www.facebook.com/cottages4you or for those not on Facebook please email facebook@cottages4you.co.uk.
    • 3. The Competition opens at 09.00 GMT on 25/03/2013 and closes on 31/07/2013 at 23.59 GMT. Entries received after this time and date will not be accepted. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt.
    • 4. Lucky Ted must be photographed enjoying any aspect of a UK holiday. Finders may keep Lucky Ted or leave him in the property for the next lucky finders.
    • 5. Only photos clearly depicting an original Lucky Ted wearing his cottages4you tee-shirt will be accepted. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any images they submit have been taken with the permission of any subject and do not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws.
    • 6. Entrants must confirm their booking reference number and cottage reference or name when submitting entries and can enter as many different photos showing Lucky Ted as they wish.
    • 7. We reserve the right to provide alternative monthly prizes of similar value should they become unavailable for any reason.
    • 8. The Competition is open to residents of Great Britain aged 21 years or over. Employees of Wyndham Worldwide and its group of companies, including cottages4you, their agents, owners of cottages and families are not permitted to enter.
    • 9. Monthly Winners will be selected by public vote via Facebook. The public will be invited to choose their favourite photo by voting for it . They will be asked to base their choice on which photo they think best shows Lucky Ted enjoying a UK holiday moment. The photo with the most votes at the end of each month will win the Monthly Prize. The next four most popular photos will be the Runners Up and will each win an Amazon gift voucher as described.
    • 10. The 4 Monthly Winners will be entered into a final phase of voting in September of which there will be one Grand Winner who will be have received the most votes during this month for their photo. The Grand Winner will be notified on Facebook and by email on 27th September.
