In the heart of the Luberon Regional Park in a quiet, rural position on the edge of Villars, close to arable fields scattered with poppies, the village shop, bakery, restaurants and café can be reached in five minutes on foot. The modern, galley kitchen opens directly onto the dining terrace with barbecue and the light, airy interiors have bright, colourful fabrics and fittings. The fenced, private swimming pool has sunny terraces and a rose-covered archway and mature trees at one end for natural shade - there are cherry, fig and even truffle oak trees in the garden. There is a sailing lake with watersports facilities and a picnic area in nearby Apt, and Avignon, Aix-en-Provence and Marseille are within an hour’s drive.

Location: 8km N of Apt (attractive old town, excellent weekly market, supermarkets, large shops), 9km W of Rustrel (striking rock formations of the Colorado Provençal), 14km E of Rousillon (renowned for its ochre production and coloured cliffs and rocks), 22km N of Bonnieux (hilltop village, galleries, restaurants).

  1. The property is compact but well appointed. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was a good selection of games, pool toys for the children and pool furniture. Everything was clean and well cared for. The location of the house was very peaceful and ideally placed for visiting the villages etc in this area. All in all very good and would definitely stay again. July 2010.
  2. This property was excellent particularly for the two children aged 6 and 3yrs. There was safe space for them to play on their bikes and most importantly the pool was completely secure with a proper locking gate - such a relief as so many properties do not have safe pools. July 2010.

  7. Le Clos was excellently equipped, with a great variety of things for the whole family, especially children. The large enclosed garden was safe for the children to play in, and the play equipment (swings and slide) kept them amused. The pool was in excellent condition and a range of inflatables was available for use. This property made us feel that we had everything that we would want and need at home. June 2007.

If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
