Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. This was our first visit to Skye and it met all of our expectations. The property was well appointed and equipped and had a stunning outlook over the Minch. It was a great base to discover the hidden beauty of the Isle of Skye and we will return in the future. July 2012.
  2. Beautiful location. Delightful to see from a distance and cosy and well-fitted within. Excellent for touring northern Skye, great base for walking and for watching wildlife. March 2012.
  3. The property was in an excellent position, views were amazing from the cottage and the location was perfect for us. Ideal cottage for our dogs too the garden was enclosed and big enough for them to run around. We didnt really see anyone when we were there and that was ideal for us. I would recommend this property to everyone. SUPERB. Sept 2011.
  4. The property was in an excellent position, views were amazing from the cottage and the location was perfect for us. Ideal cottage for our dogs too, the garden was enclosed and big enough for them to run around. We didn’t really see anyone when we were there and that was ideal for us. I would recommend this property to everyone. Superb. Sept 2011.
  5. Excellent cottage, really comfortable and a proper home-from-home at an absolutely stunning location. July 2011.
  6. Beautiful old thatched cottage. The thick stone walls & lead lined roof mean that you have to go outside to get a mobile ’phone signal, but there again no-one can bother you. We never met the owners but everything we needed was there. Despite the remote location the sat-nav took us to the door from the postcode. Not one for those who like lots of entertainment nearby but for a romantic hideaway it was perfect. May 2011.
  7. Wonderful location absolutely idyllic views across to the Western Isles. Easy access to the main road going around the island yet off the beaten track. Quiet just the sound of the birds and the sea. Cottage well thought out and everything needed was available. Cost and comfortable just like a home from home. Would book to go back again and again. April 2011.
  8. Just as described beautiful cottage perfect location. Feb 2011.
  9. Stunning location - very cute - well stocked kitchen. Dec 2010.
  10. The position, the solitude, the quaintness and the people where all excellent. Dec 2010.
  11. A lovely little cottage with a nice garden and good views. Sept 2010.
  12. Very cosy accommodation with everything that is needed. July 2010.
  13. A peaceful hideaway with a most comfortable bed! July 2010.
  14. Lovely old crofters cottage, with a superb view over the sea. All the facilities we needed were there, and all the equipment for cooking etc. Idyllic. May 2010.
  15. Cottage was absolutely beautiful. Situated down a small country lane, with fantastic views of the coast line and mountains. Very secluded and romantic! Friendly pigs, cows and sheep in the surrounding fields. Exactly what we had hoped for. Fantastic walks all around. If you dont have a car you may find it very hard to access / find and to get around as it is very remote - especially out of season! Make sure if you are following sat nav to the island you go to the bridge crossing as the ferries did not run very often and you will end up going 2 hours + out of the way! Our sat nav could not find the Skye bridge at all! (was certainly an adventure!). Feb 2010.
  16. A perfect little hideaway, lovely views of the sea, perfect for taking your dogs. Sept 2009.
  17. Everything we needed - very cosy and comfortable in a very quiet location. Aug 2009.
  18. It turned out that the cottage looks even nicer in reality that on the website. It’s a very cosy cottage, warm and clean. July 2009.
  19. Possibly a bit over priced for the size of the living space, my husband and I could not sit side by side on the sofa as it was too small. Cottage was just perfect for two, everything you could have needed was there. Setting beautiful, sunsets were amazing, loads of useful walking maps and books in the cottage and loads of info on what to do in the area. July 2009.
  20. The owner brought us some garden chairs! June 2009.
